Except if I want to play a co-op game with my brother, he doesn't want to just 'tag along for the ride' like he was controlling Tails in Sonic 2 with a second controller, he wants to be a real part of the game, have his own inventory to manage, etc etc, not this crappy-ass "drop in / drop out" stuff.
