Far Cry was great, Far Cry 2 was an open world shooter that was nothing like the original and shouldn't have even been called Far Cry

yes, it was built for a controller, and if they don't change the controls or interface to match a mouse and keyboard (thus making it easier) then maybe it won't change at all, but even simple key-bindings for abilities will drastically change how it plays compared to a controller with limited buttons.
