When WW emerges from that bunker to take on the onslaught of bullets alone, my SO got teary and, in turn, I got teary watching her get teary. It drove home to me how impactful that movie was to women and people in general.

I was just happy that a DC movie FINALLY let its hero be the positive archetype that can still kick ass that they’re supposed to be. When my girlfriend and I were walking out of the theater, she looked at me with this giddy grin and said, “I feel like I’m 10 years old again.”

I also love that Wonder Woman has now

No way. The poorest white has it way worse than Sasha or Malia. I work in a diverse school (large city school district, students about 40% white, 40% Latino, 15% black, 5% Asian). I was working with two students today, one white and one black. They were both asking about each others family, about who they’re

Same thing happened to me, both in that scene and in the scene where the Amazons charge onto the beach to fight the Germans. (Although I AM into action movies.)

I finally watched Wonder Woman a couple of weeks ago and the battle/training scenes made me tear up which really caught me off guard. I’m not into action movies in general but there was something about seeing badass women doing the stuff men usually do onscreen was really powerful for me.

That’s patently false and diminishes us. Trailer park Becky has it better than Beyonce? In what world?

LOL.

That is patently false. Whites can smell the poor whiteness a mile away and will always prefer to round out their circle with an exceptional black than someone who will reflect poorly on the brand.

This is very disturbing. Last night when the news broke, I couldn’t help but think that somehow 45/Cohen are behind the exposure of this story. Not saying that it’s okay to do what he allegedly did to these women, but the timing is too ripe with suspicion.

Seriously? I think it squares perfectly with a powerful abuser. This is what they do, they build a facade of respectability. Look at Cosby with his “America’s dad” persona. And Sandusky with his “charity” for poor children.

Yeah. This is yet another totally unsurprising one. I met Schneiderman during his first state Senate race (the one against Rosie O’Donnell’s brother), and he struck me as a vain sleaze, still better than the O’Donnell brother though.

Misogyny, abusive behavior, and male entitlement know no political affiliation, and they never will.

Thing is, we don’t even need her to win. I’m just glad she’s *in* the game. Cuomo is a corrupt piece of garbage who has been intent on avoiding any accountability for anything during his tenure.

I’m sure most have read it, it’s just they pick and chose which parts they’re going to follow. I’m positive the worst of the bunch think that it’s a system where if you don’t commit one sin, it balances out and lets you commit others for “free”. Like all the evangelicals that cheat on their wives, they think since

We’ve already arrived at the jokey part of this administration. “Oh, that Donald, what a scamp, running around with porn ladies!”

The dickweeds who fought tooth-and-nail to keep me from being able to legally marry my partner are the same Bible-thumpers who are now excusing Trump’s NUMEROUS philanderings as, “It

Because all that matters is a man’s mean stroke game!! Kidding.

The idea of lifting up Khaled’s dunlap to get better access to service his twig and berries with no hopes of reciprocation seems like a bridge too far for me. So them funds Mrs Khaled has access to must be nice.

Then it’s up to us to boycott Adidas. :)

Adidas CEO Kasper Rorsted told Bloomberg on Thursday saying the company would do no such thing. “Kanye has been and is a very important part of our strategy and has been a fantastic creator.”

Well I’d argue that MoviePass had a business model that isn’t working out the way they were hoping it would. It was basically the following:
