After a month in Morocco, eating everything I could shove into my face, I got Pizza Hut in downtown Casablanca with no regrets. It wasn’t good, but I was homesick (not that I ever ate Pizza Hut at home, but still) and there was only so many ground camel sandwiches a gal could eat.

Big Fish was shot in my hometown and Billy Crudup was a fucking pariah because of it. People were falling all over themselves for Tim Burton and Ewan McGregor, but everyone hated Crudup. Granted, we’re a bunch of holier than thou Southerners, but it’s still never a good luck to ditch your pregnant significant other…

It’s kinda a lonely club isn’t it? I hated it too. I found it so refreshing when Kim was honest about her first pregnancy. More power to her though, she’s having another. I hated it so much I decided to just have one.

If you want an industry that values women over 40, look at the soaps. Jennifer, Hope, Marlena and Adrienne were the leading ladies when I started watching in 1986 and they are still the leading ladies now!

I’m literally crying happy tears right now! I know they were a little messed up, but EJAMI is my OTP. While other soap couples were talking about their feelings, EJ and Sami were helping each other get out of jail and plotting murders in bed together. That’s ride or die right there! I was crushed when they killed EJ…

But the show never seems to know what to do with him! And it forever drives me crazy. Get rid of that black hole of suck, Daniel Jonas, and give his airtime to Lucas.

We’ve been temporarily been living my mom, who started watching in 1985, but stopped in 1997. (Stay-at-home mom gig ended.) The only DVR cable box is in the living room, so I’ve been watching it while we do stuff downstairs, which means she’s been watching it with me.

OMG all the feels. I was an 80s DOOL girl. I looooved Patch.
