Meh. Jackson was part of the crowd that made me think I hated country music for the entirety of my youth and adolescence. Fuck him.

I’m...I’m really kinda wanting this thing the more I see of it. But that exhaust note isn’t really part of that; it doesn’t sound anywhere near as awesome as the Abarth 500.

Oh no! Bosch made my dishwasher! Does that mean my house is full of diesel fumes?

I’m a little disappointed. I have a neaighbor with an Abarth and I love that little fartbox. This doesn’t really sound any better than my Mini.

I actually like the Triumph, so I’m okay with that. I remember when Standards, much less Scramblers, were essentially non-existent in the new bike marketplace. Glad to see trends swinging towards bike styles i actually like.

I think more options are better than fewer.

God, what next? Will a franchise quarterback dance in the end zone?

Well....it’s not a TERRIBLE appearance package...

I’m happy that we live in a world with so many retro scramblers that we can be all blase about them. Remember, people, it wasn’t long ago that your options were 1) a slightly porky, slightly overpriced Triumph or 2) Go Fuck Yourself.

Is this secretly about the IO9/Gizmodo thing?

I’m okay with this. I’d be SUPER okay with it if one or more of these spinoffs would turn fully into the heist movie that some of the main entries have occasionally, briefly flirted with being.

Rule #1 of comedy: Never punch down.

The profile reminds me quite a bit of the NB generation Miata. And that’s a good thing.

They’re on a brand new engine platform, so no one really knows yet.

I enjoy my Mini, and would love to add a second vehicle with a bit more hauling capacity, but I don’t think I’d ever buy another Mini. The squeak and rattle situation is CRAZY out of hand.

I think it looks great...until you put a person in it. Then the scale of the thing becomes obvious, and it all looks...off. The CrossCabriolet had the same problem, though wasn’t as well proportioned otherwise as this is. Every time I see an Evoque in real life (which is often, as they seem to be a pretty massive hit

What’s with the rebranding of Timberlake as a distinctly Memphis musician? I know he grew up in a suburb on the town and all, but it’s not like either his career nor his sound have any real roots or ties to Stax or Sun.

Gross.

It’s so low, though. Great in crucible, but in the world, I constantly find myself impotently trying to traverse jumps that were simple when I had the increased height selected.

Can we just keep this tire fire going long enough for the Golf R to be offered up for, like, $25K?
