In nearly every emergency response situation I've ever seen, there is some degree of standing about. So the dude turned his head in the direction of the camera at the same time the neighbor took a pic? So what?

Honestly, the thing that might make me hesitate buying this isn't my experience with Forza Horizon 1 (got it for $15 and it was worth at least that) but my experience with Forza 5: bought in on Day One and could just never get that into it. Previous entries in the series seemed to pull me along the progress ladder…
That's a real shame. Automobile was always the magazine I most looked forward to each month, as it was, at times, the ONLY one that had a clear editorial voice. R&T has gotten really damn good in the past year or so, but most months I can barely tell C&D and Motor Trend apart.
Glad someone else mentioned that. It's very hard to take someone's opinion seriously when they can't get the basic facts right.
Given that White was being recruited in 2004, it seems unlikely that anyone offered him the C7 pictured, that's for sure.
Yeah, for Yaris money, I could forgive the Yaris interior.
Well, that's a little disappointing. It takes a special kind of suck to build an interior that feels cheaper than what MINI put in their first (and to a lesser extent, second) gen cars, but MAN, Fiat stepped up to the plate on that challenge with the 500. And hit the Shitball right the fuck out of Turd Park.
Dude, I was agreeing with you: he tried to make a pharmacology joke, but didn't understand pharmacology enough to pull it off.
There's no better way to sound dumb than to try to sound smarter than you are.
That's true. And this guy was certainly guilty of using racist (and sexist, ageist, classist, really just name your ism) language, but I really never saw or heard anything out of him that suggested he believed any ethnicity was inherently superior or inferior to another. He just enjoyed being specific in his rants. I…
I'm not as bothered by that as by the assertion that the Mk IV Golf was bad. At least in their 1.8T and VR6-equipped versions, I thought the MkIV PQ34 twins were pretty decent little FWD funmobiles.
I worked one summer delivering ice with a guy who was, I thought at first, deeply racist, but eventually realized was just INCREDIBLY angry at everyone and if there happened to be a specific term that applied to you, all the better.
Ever since the MkV Jetta, it's just looked like a VW Corolla.
Yep. With the MkV Jetta, VW clearly set their phasers on "Corolla" and haven't looked back.
Warranties are weird. If you look at the current offerings (in the U.S., anyway) they seem to fall into three categories: 3 Yrs/36K for everday car brands, including those with reputations for lasting forever, 4 Yrs/50K for brands that either have or aspire to some level of premium/luxury prestige, and 10Yrs/100K…
If they can bring 90% of that exterior styling to market, I think I've just seen a preview of my next car. The interior is cool too, but clearly has nothing to do with any production vehicle this side of the i3.
Yeah, I know it was much preferred by the R&T crew when they did their Driver's COTY (or Performance COTY...I forget what they called it) a month or so ago.
You make a good point.
I don't agree. There's a lot to like here.
