Quvenzhane’ Wallis is in 8th grade?!? When did that happen?

I was really worried we were just going to end up with more and more private prisons. So glad to see that trend reversed.

Some public goods should not be run for a profit. Prisons are one of those things. Some would argue that healthcare is also one of those things, but I digress.

I know, I didn’t think I’d live to see it. I thought this was just another stepping stone on our way to an American dystopia.

I’m sure that was his mom’s doing.

For what it’s worth, Daily Mail is reporting the swimmers trashed a gas station bathroom, and the security guard at the gas station pulled a gun and said they had to pay for damages. But some other outlets are saying generic brawl at the gas station. I am anxiously awaiting the leak of that footage.

I think they are saying there might not have been a robbery at all. Seems the footage shows that they were being drunk bros and got in a fight with some security people at the gas station.

I’m actually kind of impressed that Lochte had the foresight to skip town before everything went south.

So, wait... Still a robbery happened, but they were drunk and disorderly? (Does that mean Brazil is victim blaming now?) Or are they saying robbery didn’t happen at all?
