I feel your pain. I too wish more stores opened before 9/10am. Like you I've been up for hours and could have done a lot by the time stores open. Besides, the summers here in Texas are insanely hot. If I HAVE to run errands I'd rather not be baked to a crisp doing them.

It's a mistake to assume that people "tend to value things they pay money for...". I have pets I picked up off the streets and I value them greatly.

Breeding animals for profit while others die needlessly is wrong. And creates a burden on the city shelters as some of these "pure bred" pets end up in those very shelters. Just google a breed and the word "rescue" for any city.

I don't follow sports and had to look up Ms. Griner. When I saw her photo the first thing that came to mind was that here was another black woman being labeled a man for not fitting some ridiculous idea of what qualities make a woman.

Meaning the media attention from the fire might bring their poor decision to breed these pups to the attention of any regulatory agency or humane group.
