Nothing has come close to replicating the Scion xB, which came out in '04. I just wish Scion had continued with this formula in 2008. by introducing the Japanese-market bB instead of the bloated xB2.

The Mitsubishi RVR Hyper Sports Gear: Essentially a Mitsubishi Expo LRV powered by an EVOIII engine with AWD. Who wouldn't want a 4G63T-powered tall wagon with AWD? It was a Nismo Juke before the Nismo Juke.

The Mitsubishi RVR Hyper Sports Gear. Mitsubishi Expo + EVO III engine/drivetrain = one awesomely bizarre 4G63T AWD tall wagon.

Ford's got the Fiesta ST. Fiat's got the 500 Abarth. Why doesn't Chevy offer a tarted-up Sonic SS? I know there's a Sonic RS, but it's not much hotter than a regular Sonic.

Definitely the bus, although a small bus.

Daddy?

Well, I guess you have to define "sports car." The SOHC 1.8-liter 4G93 made 113 HP. It wasn't bad. The suspension was mighty soft, however. Of course, the Japanese market RVR Hyper Sports Gear was essentially an EVO III with a sliding door.

Always thought this one was funny and slightly weird. I had a '92 Mitsubishi Expo LRV. There wasn't much sports car; perhaps a bit of bus, however. Still a fun-ish (and extremely practical) little rollerskate.

Good timing: I just read this today (via Consumer Reports): Ten slowest vehicles of 2014.

I believe it was A.

I'm not trying to be that guy, but I just saw this today:

Slowest cars of 2014 according to Consumer Reports

I saw him in concert a couple years ago.

Oregon has an infamously strange question on its written test. In fact, when I first moved here, several people warned me of the "horse question." I didn't think much of it. While waiting in line at the DMV to take my written exam, I overheard a number of people conversing about it. The question is something like

And by "made by GM" we mean "Made by GM Daewoo." And by "Suzuki" we mean "GM Daewoo."

Ugh; such a sorry time for Suzuki. They could've been great. Repeat offender here: I owned two SX4s and still have a Sidekick.

For what it's worth, the two groups that immediately comes to mind:

As someone who has worked in the off-road industry for years, if I could recommend your post more than once I would.

That makes two of us. I also bought a Suzuki Sidekick, which I still own and use off-road. No longer have the SX4s, however. I really had hoped for a hail Mary from Suzuki towards the end. You know, bringing something like the Jimny or Hustler over as a "well, why the fuck not?" But so be it. I became a Subaru WRX

Indeed there was. I don't know the numbers, but I know they're increasing each year. Now that's it's closer to a population center (Flagstaff) and not out in the middle of nowhere (Amado, AZ), more people are going. (FYI, I was working at the show for a manufacturer, actually.)
