Probably because the author only read the linked article before writing this post, and that article doesn't mention the attacks. Jezebel isn't really known for verifying or doing comprehensive research on the information it posts, especially on the weekends.
For those who love a good deal: I got a free membership and discounted first box using a Google Offer, so I suggest signing up for some Groupon-type services and keeping an eye out for CSA discounts.
Fake Chloe Sevigny needs to read this list out loud.
I have but I won't give anything away :) She does get more savvy, but the problem is that she literally has no one on her side (except Margaery, but Margaery can't cross Joffery) and doesn't know whom to trust.
in a way Tyrion deserves Sansa
Just wanted to thank you for shedding some light on what goes into these kid genius science competitions and pointing out the way they're reported. I've always wondered how a HS kid could have the resources and knowledge to come up with supposedly revolutionary ideas/products. I don't think having that information…
Ugh, that movie. I like Ginnifer Goodwin so I expected it to be at least okay, but GOOD GOD LEMON.
Just FYI - a living wage and the minimum wage are totally different things. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Living_wa…
I agree that Carmela ≠ Skyler. Carmela was a complex character whom we got to see as a whole person and not just as a prop for Tony. Personally, I think Skyler comes off as strong and sympathetic (more so than Carmela, maybe), but we don't get a sense of her inner life/personality apart from her reactions to Walter.
I think that it's easier for the privileged to feel solidarity with the marginalized when times are good and it feels like there's plenty to go around. Due to the economy being shitty for workers right now, I can see how men might be reacting negatively to pushes for women's empowerment in the workplace. Frankly,…
I think that, yes, she might be named after Jhumpa Lahiri. Mindy has tweeted about admiring her before.
Seriously? I have never heard anyone call that out, not in real life, not in the media, not anywhere. Where do you hear this criticism? (Not being snarky, I'm genuinely curious)
I'm pretty sure he meant the sort of SALARY/perks they're most likely to obtain won't cover the costs of childcare. To your larger point though, it's ultimately in the best interest of employers that families have access to affordable childcare. Otherwise, you're greatly reducing the pool of available talent.
I've gone back and forth throughout my twenties. Now that it's becoming more real for me, age and relationship-wise, I've come to a decision and feel good about it. You might change your mind, or not. Just don't let people judge you or coerce you either way.
Whitestrips do the job, but the effect doesn't last very long if you drink coffee/tea regularly (and obviously if you smoke).
It took me a good 20 minutes to get into the Baz of it all and just appreciate the visuals and music. Really, I just want to read the book again. Totally agree that Tobey Maguire sucked, but then I've never found him to be a compelling actor.
I've heard The Forsyte Saga is pretty good. Also Top of the Lake, which is a mystery/thriller. Both available on Netflix!
She wasn't saying that the ladies were actively thinking about anything - that's the point, that they didn't have to think about their skin color. Deciding whether you or someone else belongs or doesn't belong in a certain space is, as she says, a largely "unconscious" process (unless you really are a straight-up…
But they were not in her place of business, they were at a White House event where she was someone's +1. And, they threatened to sic the Secret Service on her, which could mean hours or days of interrogation - who knows. It's not analogous to your situation at all. Plus, she's now using her privilege to put these…
