I'm not sure about everywhere, but I have digital phone as well, but the main modem/router unit that regulates all that has a ridiculously long backup battery on it. That's actually what I do sometimes, haha. I have a standing desk with all kinds of devices and wires so the console sits pretty discreetly by the UPS. I also have velcro on the back of the controller and it sticks up onto the underside of the desk when not in use.

I don't know... I got a pack of these and while they were definitely too much creme to cookie on the scale, the ones out of my package were very nicely put together. The cream was slightly swirled around and gave it a nice appearance rather than a 'hand-smooshed' appearance.
