I was 9 or 10 during the peak of this amazing war of Sega and Nintendo. To say the least, looking back? I have no regrets, and enjoy every second of it, despite Sega's "decisions of add ons". One could (or should) never be too stuck up about nostalgia. What fun is being a stuck up douche?

Look what goes into the localization of the game and the series: It's not just a simple "translation" job, they also have to change the names of some of the monsters as well as the characters. Plus, in America, they always "focus on marketing and advertising" before just releasing a product.
