I got a 60% discount on my BMW EV when it had been used for less than 2 years. It is An amazing little car to put around town in. As a primary car though it would be a stretch.

I don’t know if I really buy that since I see a ton of BMW i3s and tons of Nisssan Leafs as well. For moving 27k vehicles it seams like a ghost.

I’ve yet to see one in the wild. I saw one at a Chevy dealership and that is it. I live in a place with a good bit of disposable income too, I see probably 2-3 Aston Martins a day, a Ferrari and a Lamborghini a week. Why have I not seen a Chevy?

The original window sticker is a nice addition. I spend hours trying to figure out what comes on what package and then looking at grainy pictures online trying to figure out of it is a blank switch or the car has the options I wanted.

Doing some back of napkin calculations: let’s assume the average sale price of a model 3 is 45,000. This may be high, but it helps my case. That is $225m of revenue over 2 quarters. How is that going to make up for the $1.3B they will probably spend in that time?
