Agree with almost everything you said, but I had to go NP because I don’t think I could do it myself for cheaper.

This is weird, I have a TDi and this same scenario happened to me. Are we friends?
That would be the ultimate stocking stuffer.
E30 too!
There was a time I could buy a Porsche and triple my money over 3 years.
My credit union will give me a 4.09 on 84 months on a used vehicle. It goes up to 4.99 for 96 months. That is crazy.
The cities of the future are going to be an amazingly annoying place when everybody has a vehicle that is literally as loud as a jet engine. I’ll will take 500 Tesla sedans over 1 of these things.
Yep, that is the truth! I’ll try and dig up where he admits it
I clicked on this thinking it was one of Jason’s articles where he forgets he doesn’t write for The Onion anymore.
Yeah, but a V8 in a solstice is awesome. An LT1 in place of an LT1 is mediocre.
It is 2.5x the price of the car! I mean, start with a better chassis than a C4, if you are going to be buying a $12k engine (and then mounting it to an auto, no less)
You really think that people are spending $9k on a pieced together, 50 year old truck for work?
My thoughts too. That isn’t a cheap mill. Everybody on Jalopnik thinks you can buy every engine for $500.
I live in Texas so I regularly set my cruise at 90 MPH to go with the flow of traffic. The only negative is that it drains my fuel tank so damn fast!

$7k is a lot of money for an engine to put in your hippie camper van.
And you are picking up your own kids from school like an asshole.
I think the Tesla and the Prius are actually pretty decent on how long people hold onto them
Oh that’s a good one!
Let’s take a few guesses for the shortest ownership!
