Do you do this with every woman who accuses a powerful man, or just the ones who accuse people you personally like?

You didn’t even make it a full paragraph before implying she might be “literally delusional.” This is so predictable and sad.

Oh wow, changes everything, she’s definitely lying then, Joe Biden did nothing wrong.

Just going through a victim’s statements, seeing if there’s anything she has ever said that you disagree with or could be used to smear her with, even if it’s irrelevant to her accusation.

Remember how much of the left/center-left treated Monica Lewinsky in the late 90's? And how everyone rallied to defend the creep who was absolutely in the wrong just because he was also the victim of right-wing smears?

Seriously, “look what she said about Putin, she must be lying” is almost like something I would see from a parody of some #Resistance boomer weirdo.

I believe the woman. I don’t believe the guy with a history of being creepy towards women in public.

Love that political party that makes a huge show of being “pro life” while encouraging the undesirables to die.

You’re gross and sexist.

From the article:

This isn’t about tokenism, and this isn’t about bringing in some cornpone cover girl because she’s pretty and sassy. This is about bringing in a serious intellectual with solid experience and national recognition

He stole every scene he was in on Difficult People.

If he won the nomination he would absolutely have to court moderate Dems. What are you talking about?

He probably will get a lot of these votes in November. But wouldn’t you rather have them enthusiastically backing your candidacy months earlier, instead of ignoring you and reluctantly voting for you in November?

Because he’s probably not going to be speaking to the left in the general. He can do that on Sunday and can make the affirmative case for a Biden presidency to them NOW. Not in late October, not in the summer, but months before the convention. There hasn’t been a debate since Biden became the front-runner. He went

It’s a perfect opportunity (how often do you go into a debate knowing exactly what your opponent wants to talk about) to do something he needs to do and nobody on his side wants him to do it.

Why do you think this will push people away from Joe Biden?

A bunch of comments on here are like “Bernie’s policy is good but this is TREASONOUS and shall NOT stand.” Even though this (an opportunity for Biden to earn support from the left and use that to solidify the party against Trump in the general election) is exactly what they should want.

The group that voted for bernie will not jump over to joe, based on their belief that sanders is getting screwed again, and Biden can’t win without them.

He’s going to need support from everyone to win in November. That includes the left. If you know that left voters are currently cold on Biden, shouldn’t he take the opportunity to get them on his side? That’s going to be easier to do now than in the fall.
