@freemonica: Charlize and Uma. I'm drooling all over myself just thinking about them...

@Notes from the underwhelmed: Well said, notes... As far as we know, the Obama campaign doesn't have any problem w/the Clintons. It was a comedian who got offended, not the Obama campaign.
@llsie: I haven't quite gotten used to the new format here either.
@LovelyHue: I think he did that so it didn't look disrespectful to McCain. Obama does the same thing; McCain's status as a war hero is undeniable so you have to acknowledge it before taking him down.
I watched the Letterman interview, Bill didn't say or do anything that bad to Obama. It was a reasoned and intelligent interview about the direction of our country. What right does Chris Rock have to get offended? And why should we care? He is just a comedian.
I agree with the the people who believe it isn't sexist that they're keeping her under wraps. Its fear of her inexperience and ineptness. Imagine a hypothetical situation where a different woman, let's say Hillary, is McCain's running mate. Do you think they keep her under wraps? No way - she would be right out in…
Ooooh, I like that...
@ForeverBlueGirl: yeah, I didn't know they looked so different either. When your up closer they look so much more alike.
@haguenite: I don't know haguenite, I mean, you should able to take it ser...ser...ser... take it earnestly.
@marimari: Nahh, that kid doesn't know anything about lung cancer. He just knows he fucked up.
@haguenite: Ahhh, it sounds like you might know your beer. I believe Acme (california) features women in their ads if that makes a difference. Brewed in the states, and good beer too. Also, have you tried Ommegang?
@haguenite: I've never heard of that beer? Is it regional? Where is it sold?
@hello.kitty: hahaha!
@CrossWord: actually crossword, a G&T sounds damn good right about now.
@PoisonPixie: Its bad to use babies for advertising cigarettes, to whoever the target demographic is, just in a generic sense.
I have a thing for spanish food, and like archetype, I have a thing for Gwyneth (no, don't know what it is). The cooking show is this Saturday night on PBS. Saw a clip of it on [NYT.com] and I could not have been more jealous. Can't wait to see it.
@Stirge: I should clarify, I was talking about Palin there.
@whoabecca: Yeah, you know, issues, not like, knowing what the Bush doctrine is (boring) but, like, why is the cast of 90210 so skinny? Stuff like that. You know issues. she is so cool. Just like a mom.
@southernbitch: Wow, I thought there was something wrong with me. I couldn't get through that book to save my life. I loved Bonfire of the Vanities, I wonder what happened to Wolfe with that book.
