Same old complaint about nothing. There are plenty of shows on BET, Tru, Lifetime, Oxygen, etc that feature the diversity your looking for. If enough people don't watch, the CW will change their programming. Its as simple as that.

@Sev: Yeah, I'm worried about that too. I had discussions with several of my friends last election. I asked "how many times does a guy have to lie and/or be proven wrong before you don't vote for him?" None would answer, none would really give it any thought. And they voted for Bush anyway. There are millions out

@steampoweredboy: Inconceivable Privilege, yeah, you articulated the same thing I sensed about her. Palin's speech was *WAY* more offensive really, if you define personal attacks on your opponent with no substantive discussion of campaign issues offensive. Funny thing is though, there is something about Michelle Obama

@eri401: All good points, and I will admit I didn't get the irony. If designers want to hire all white women for whatever reason, that is their choice. I think JLady had it right when she mentioned that the real problem is, why are there so few models of color? Over-representation of white models could be construed as

@Rooo sez BISH PLZ: If I thought you knew anything about relational/contextual or intersectional analysis, I'd suggest taking a quick peek in the mirror before you leave wherever you are to get to your next Fashion Week appointment — 'cause your value judgments are showing.

@emsigh_the_second: No, I don't really wonder why there isn't a white history month, a WET, or an NAAWP. That is not what I spend my time wondering about. I imagine you spend your time imagining people who do.

@Rooo sez BISH PLZ: I understand we don't live in a color-blind world, I agree. But my argument is that there are at least a million bigger problems in this world than worrying about the color of a few runway models in New York.

Let the designers pick who they want regardless of color. If most are blond, so be it.

@TheOtherJen: I completely agree, men in general are as catty and mean-spirited as women in general. But at least the guys made fun of you to your face, so no guessing where you stood with them.

@Madge: What game is that, Madge?

@judgingnora: That is a good point you raise, Edwards' judgement was off, to say the least. But, if you were running, wouldn't your vetting process be as thorough as the media's? Something like that would be caught.

@TheUpMyAssPlayers: How do you know she is a moron? Do you know anything about her?

Its ok to fuck a racist if you are too.
