Style question: Should it be “ex-Finals MVP”? I thought “former-Finals MVP” since he wasn’t removed from being FMVP, he won it and remains the 2015 FMVP, even as KD and LeBron picked up the more recent ones. Or does one become “ex-” once a new MVP is selected? Would Curry and KD then be ex-MVPs?
A fellow handheld enthusiast? Let me refine my argument then, as I am also a man of refined tastes.
I’m not a hockey expert like either of you, but my read on this, based on your responses, is that two players could conceivably arrange to do the whole “crouch behind someone while your friend pushes them” gag from grade school, and that there should be a max of two minutes for the shove, regardless of the resultant…
This might be the best article ever on this site. I found it to mirror my own experience with trauma and life altering internal changes that had zero to do with any act or activity.
Its these kinds of little articles that keep me as a faithful Lifehacker reader. You’ve got the links, detailed instructions, rationale for both taking action and for letting the status quo remain.
I can see the value of YNAB, I currently have Mint haphazardly working for me.
I more took issue with the notion that this is general “you can save money this way” advice. If the author started out by stating the pre-existing conditions/requirements, i.e. Single, No Kids, Established Career, Remote Work Conditions,…
I hear what you’re saying, I just think the screen compromise going from desktop/laptop to iPhone specifically just isn’t worth it (and I have a fairly large iPhone). And there’s only a small subset of games that will be even remotely playable with touch/swipe inputs.
I agree, most of my gaming is done from my couch.
I imagined that was the reason, but I still liked the visual of an ethernet port on an iPhone, and the admittedly poor joke was also to riff on the lack of headphone jack.
I’m having a doublethink moment. I simultaneously cannot believe such a product exists and believe that its obvious in its necessary existence.
“The Steam Link app allows gamers to experience their Steam library of games on Apple (iPhone, iPad, Apple TV) devices while connected via 5Ghz network or wired Ethernet to a host computer running Steam,”
Now, admittedly, I am dumb, BUT, how does one connect an iPhone via wired Ethernet? I’m very on-board with the…
Who said my situation was no good? I live in Hawaii with my beautiful wife, great kids, and have a stable job. Try beating that.
“I’m single, I’m healthy, I have no children, I live in a low cost-of-living area, and I’ve been growing my freelance career for nearly a decade.”
Unfortunately, this is where you lost me and I gave up on the rest of the article.
Starred solely on the strength of your username.
Triple-negative sentences are my jam. I shall star for this, and this alone.
Always star Raul. Always.
Pressure that somehow left the rest of his deck untouched, and also occurred to newly sleeved cards, and consistently on a specific set of cards with no others marked.
Happy Birthday!
This aged well.
In A Farewell To Arms, the main charater’s wife (names escape me several decades from reading it) talks about how the doctor told her to drink a few beers throughout the pregnancy to keep the baby small and make birth easier. So in theory, women were being told to drink during pregnancy, at least a little, as recently…
