Nothing odd here, just some rodents making nests. I have had a vehicle that was 2 months old have similar nests in it after sitting in the dealer lot before getting put on the sales line.

pretty standard fishing beach mod here in coastal New England. It’s either perfectly legal, or half the trucks on the road/beach are getting away with stuff.
Love the Cummins 5.9. I remember when buying a brand new Dakota in I guess 1990(ish) there was a black RAM 250 LE and even in stock on-the-lot livery it looked so damn badass. Alas it’d have been total overkill for my truck purposes. Some people opt for the 6.7(? size) but the 5.9 if you found a decent enough stump in…
Oh, I promise you. They’re out there.

the only way the wheel straps would hold the car is if the wheels were all the way forward.
Thing is though, it’s not a 1/2 ton. The regular Titan is a 1/2 ton, the XD is basically a 3/4 ton. Different frame, axles, engine, etc.
Couple that with an amazing AAM 9.84 inch rear axle with a 3.916 gear ratio and this truck has the capability to literally draw and quarter its competition - a commercial I would pay to see, if you’re listening, Nissan.
Man that 70/30 was by far the worst part of the trooper. It just meant having to open 2 does all the time and while my cruiser is a 2 part for it at least forms a useful bench and hatch combo.
Oh gods. When I was a tech for Acura, we would draw straws for who would wrench on these piles of junk. Nothing was good working on these. Dealers had a separate computer diagnostic system for these as the PGM-FI scanner was mostly incompatible with the Isuzu/GM computers in these.
It’s probably best to choose a roadway that doesn’t see any rain for a good few weeks then as well, otherwise I’m sure it’s mostly washed away into drainage systems.
Just popped in to pick a nit. The catalytic converter doesn’t filter or trap, it catalyzes. It provides a substrate that facilitates reactions that break down unwanted byproducts of combustion. Nothing is trapped in the catalyst, it is reacted to something less harmful and released.
Be fair: that’s not all American engines, even from GM. As far back as 1991, 2.3L Quad-4 was pushing out 190hp and reaching nearly 7k revs. And if you’re not limiting your experience to NA engines, the 260-hp Cobalt SS turbocharged was one of the fastest FWD cars ever.
Nobody wanted them new, and $700 Would be too much money now
It helps if you don’t have a tiny screen. I have no problem with WAZE. I have used it on a lot of trips and I don’t find the number of alarms absurd. I would love it on my Navigation screens. Now I run both and I find WAZE does a better job navigating than either Toyota Entune, Ford Navi or Garmin.
Maps! Something I can speak about from an API perspective! Hooray!
Neutral: Whoever the hell built waze. I love it. Matter of fact, can we just put waze in there and be done with it? lol
From what I understand, the turbos themselves don’t fail.
