Your artist was right; neck, hand and face tattoos are last, after you’re already got them in lots of other places. There are good reasons for this.

Also: geez, I hope they make this more reliable , cheaper to service and less rust prone than the sprinters we had. We had an ‘07 and a ‘10 (both bought new) and both sucked in all 3 of those areas compared to the Chevy and dodge half ton pickups we also had.

66” Max cargo width rules out 2 full size street bikes, and my tiger 1200 is too tall, even if you take the mirrors off. So, maybe 2 small dirt bikes if you get creative with loading and tying down. Or a few Vespas.

Pickup replacement? Can you fit two 900cc motorcycles in the back? ‘Cause that's what my pickup is used for, that and towing a 10,000 lb enclosed car trailer.

I’d guess:

I will, if you promise to tell everyone you know how awful burning man is, for the same reason. Deal?

I think he means the compressor that pumps up the air springs, like the $600 one under an escalade behind the driver’s side rear wheel.

But you really like driving the car, right? Everyone spends money on more ephemeral things that make them happy - gambling, drinks, travel, golf, hookers and blow...

Huge rearward blind spots, tinted rear windows, narrow-ass one way/one lane streets, a shortage of on street parking big enough for a truck, car grilles at bumper level and the worlds least patient drivers mean that parallel parking a vehicle of size in many parts of Philly is a finely honed craft. You’ve never taken SEPTA, have you?

“Best” does not necessarily mean “reliable” or “low ownership cost” to some people.

I looked at about a dozen used range rovers of about that vintage for a client, and judging from the freakin’ huge stack of service orders (both warranty and customer pay) each well-kept example had, I'd say his is somewhat more reliable than the ones I checked out.

This. A thousand times this. I can’t tell you how often I’ve told a client or a friend to buy the best example (garaged, clean title, low miles, one owner, no accidents, full maintenance records) of a used car they can find, rather than the cheapest ( title branded, salvage history, parked under a tree, “ran when

Tires lose a pound a month just sitting there, so a 60 psi donut spare will be dead flat in 5 years from when the car was delivered if nobody checks it and pumps it up occasionally.

That’s totally cool, I get it. I have a friend who has been to Hawaii 4 times (three months total) and thinks it’s overpriced and overrated compared to other places. Everyone has their own experience.

That’s fine, don’t go. But don’t think that you know what 70,000 other people’s experience is or will be because you spent some time talking to people. Honestly, you just sound like you’re grumpy that they had a remarkable time that they’re really excited about.

What point was that? That you don’t know what you’re taking about?

The Chevy Sonic has a remarkably comfortable, quiet ride for the tiny car class. The ‘13 Fit Sport has fun, communicative handling and an excellent shifter. Both have at least 50% more power than the mirage and loads more refinement.

Sometimes they're horrendous, sometimes they're perfectly fine. The organizers have gotten a lot better at having them serviced every day, which helps a lot.

But you’re the one who has never been there, yet are telling us your (negative) opinion on what you think it’s mostly about.
