For the rest of the century, conservatives have their playbook and it’s fucking Gamergate.

“Or again, have a nice DM who gives you lots of potions/wands (or gold to buy) to replace the Cleric.”

My current party is built to be a performing band. Ranks in perform for everyone.

Bards are so ridiculously great in 5e; they’ve got almost as many skill options as Rogues, fun class options, and at higher levels get spells from any class, so they’re ridiculously versatile. Absolutely the best utility characters in the game, even better if you multiclass into Warlock and start picking up more

A lot of my characters have been heavily based on video games or anime. My first D&D character, an elf Eldritch Knight, is essentially an expy of my Elsword character.

Step 2: Realize that Step 1 doesn’t apply in 5e and roll a bard because they kick ass now. My bard is the MVP of the night more often than anyone else in the group.

“Teacher, I think I speak for the entire class when I say I’d rather have a pop quiz than a surprise Ivanka Trump visit. I’ll even go make the copies.”

“I don’t half-hit people.”

My favorite bit was Mac skewering the “How hard did you hit him?” trope. I never even thought of it as much of a cliche until that scene. His look and delivery on “As hard as I could” were priceless.

He also referenced the framework with:

She also snapped at Mac about how she “figured it out using magic”,

I don’t know why we would assume all Kree are the same. These guys don’t exactly seem like soldiers, or official Kree representatives.

AOS had two previous depictions of (living) Kree: Vin-Tak from “Who You Really Are?” who was determined to find and exterminate any Inhumans and the Kree Reapers from “Failed Experiments,” who came to Earth to exterminate Hive. Neither one told us much about Kree society.

“I’m a biologist, but sure, I can invent time travel. Just give me a minute.”

Mack’s reactions are perfectly in-character. He hates aliens and supernatural and superpowers and stuff, so suddenly being thrown into a space station, much less in the future, without warning after all the bullshit of Seasons 3 and 4 he had to go through finally broke his meter past the “I’m done with this shit”

-I am so excited for this season and this was a really great opener! Did a lot of important setup and worldbuilding while keeping things entertaining!

In the real world, most villains consider themselves morally upright (and do evil while enforcing their ideal of moral righteousness), so it stands to reason that at least some supervillains work the same way.

I would say it really depends on your upbringing.

Oh they did. Especially DC’s Legion of Superheroes:

That was a nice touch, definitely.
