Ya, the context worked just fine. That was just me going semi-off-topic with pet peeve stuff. :P
So, those without high skill who play Hanzo (which is about 95% of them) would much better serve the team by playing a different character.
Your comment is extremely useful and you deserve all the stellar clicks!
Well, yeah! Like I implied nearby, one can’t skip the homework and expect success. (And let’s be clear, Our Game of Internet Spaceships requires a truly stupid amount of homework.)
I did small gang and solo piracy in low-sec, with forays into null. Funded my sub with wormhole expeditions for quite a while. I never played politics, because, like you said: Who needs an unpaid job? And I never set foot in any ship hull bigger than a battlecruiser.
I think “If it doesn’t make you quit, you’ll learn, but you won’t win the first time” is a great and useful point!
Hello! One, two, testing, testing. How does this work?
Setting up a trap to lure him in usually takes alot of logistics and system awareness
The thing is, this guy is clearly a jerk. A bog-standard, run-of-the-mill unpunchable internet jerk. But once you mute his “rar, i’m such a bad guy” sillysmack... He’s just another brick in the wall EVE player. Who, in terms of spaceship-on-spaceship action can be 1) entirely avoided, should you wish to, or 2) dealt…
Surely you mean “so bring a handful of cardboard ships - and just a smidge of coordination - and kasplode the big-gunned arse who was unwise enough to fly solo in something heavy and expensive”?
“His goal was—this is what he stated to us—to ruin our game experience and harass us until we stop playing”
include a section on modern games that are infinitely better
There’s a “fava beans and chianti” joke in there somewhere. I guess!
That’s... okay, that would be great, but I can’t help but feel it’s also like a hypothetical Indiana Jones vs. Lara Croft showdown. Lara probably beats Indy at just about everything, but he’s still Indiana Jones.
I once ended up with a Queen of Britannia without trying. Under a wotchamacallit, succession law that only allowed women if there were no eligible males.
Is this like Civ or my all time favorite Crusader Kings 2?
They’re still useful, just rather unlikely to soak more than two attacks from anything beyond early-game opponents.
It’s not that I dislike Sharpshooters - to me, they’re a huge improvement on last game’s Snipers, which were 1) hyper-effective and 2) dulldulldull - but once you’ve got a Ranger with Death From Above and a spider suit... You may never love anyone else.
“X-COM 2: BETTER OVERWATCH BUT ACTUALLY LESS SPAMMING OF IT SINCE, LOOK, WE’RE ON A SCHEDULE HERE, PEOPLE! AND I’M NOT TALKING ABOUT SELF-DESTRUCTING NANOGOOP!”
