I just got this with my recent purchase of an Oculus Rift. I’ll launch tonight and give it a spin. Good on you for your son knowing who Tails is, lol.

But most PC gamers understand these “tiers” already so it’d be pretty repetitive to put in there. If they are unsure of the cards or their cost, then simply look at the cards performing well at your resolution, and then google the cost. If you don’t know much about GPU’s then why even bother with this article?

I’m still rocking an i7 2600k and a 970 @1440p. The system runs everything great, but I’m looking to do a new build in about 6-8 months. Wondering if I should just get a newer i5 or one of these new AMD chips? My next build will be to go 4k gaming at 60 fps, just fyi. I don’t do much video editing, mostly gaming. I

As a current PC gamer who’s first love was the SNES (I’m 29 so that and the genesis were the two main consoles when I started gaming) I have a hard time wanting to buy this now that I’ve heard the tv gaming plays worse. Some of these mis-steps just seem so obvious (no hdmi port on the tablet???).

So is the portable version running off of streaming from the home device and requiring of an internet connection to the handheld (ala The Nvidia Shield Tablet)? I might have missed something... Or is the console literally that tiny that you are able to take it around? It just looks like a screen to me.

Exactly the point. Probably less than 5% of PC players could even run this so why would they waste the resources? It’s a business.

I’ve been a PC gamer for about 2 1/2 years now and the frame rate absolutely does matter for some games. Let’s be honest, you don’t really need games like South Park, Shadowrun, Civ, or games of that nature to run at 60fps. It really wouldn’t make much a difference.

It is a great capture software. It also does a really nice job of keeping the file sizes fairly small in comparison to other services I’ve used.

I never understood the whole MOBA scene until I played this game. I haven’t spent a lot of time on it because I have so many other games grabbing my attention, but I really do like this game and hope to play it more in the near future. Great game for anyone wanting to try out a MOBA for the first time. The tutorial is

I just don’t see how these consoles are going to really push VR. They are having trouble achieving 1080p and 30 fps, and now you’re asking them to achieve 1080p (at least) times 2, and around 90+ fps (what I hear to be the cap for making people sick). Hearing what the PC’s are having to push to have a decent VR

Let’s be real. Most of the PC gaming world would not be able to run the Witcher 3 the way it looked in 2013/2014. Percentage wise, it’s only a small sub-sect of PC gamers that have high end rigs.. Yes, I would say that PC Gaming is getting more popular, but CDPR still has to make a game that most can play, along with

Hey Greg! Glad you left IGN. I used to love your segments (despite your lack of love for the PC), but I could not stand IGN’s format, ratings, and comment boards. I had no idea that you left and went did your own thing until I came across this article. I’m definitely going to start following Kinda Funny. Happy for

How can you run Bioshock, but Starbound gives you issues? Have you looked in the forums for people with similar issues? Maybe it’s more CPU bound... I don’t know. That’s weird man.

I play metal slug, racing games, fighting games, etc.. on my PC in my living room with my friends and fiance. I have one wireless xbox controller and one wired and it works just fine. Of course it helps I have a 50 ft long hdmi cord that. I really need to set my laptop up as a streaming machine.

Question, have you played the previous Witcher games? If you don’t know anything about the main character in question, then your statement lacks any kind of backing. You’re simply looking at him and claiming that he’s boring. I’m not ripping you, but I have to say that I kind of thought Geralt looked a little whack

I have a feeling that if he played on PC it would’ve been a lot easier on him.

I didn’t like the first one’s combat either (I liked the story, but I never finished the game), but i really enjoyed the second entry. Great game. I would suggest playing the 2nd game. You can find it for dirt cheap on sales and it’s still one of the best looking games I own, very demanding though even for my i7 and

I always say that my next build I may go AMD to save money (they have great price-to-performance), but this worry (the drivers) is constantly in the back of my head and after this year’s releases it only solidifies that I’ll never go AMD. Nvidia is quality. You may pay a little more, but in the 2+ years that I’ve used

I completely understand what you’re saying and you make some good points that I agree with. But let’s think for a second using that model. You mean to tell me if you go out and buy a whole bunch of Cokes, then add a flavor to it, and then try to re-sell it, that Coke wouldn’t have a problem with that? You can’t take

Modders get 25%, Bethesda gets 37.5% (rightly so), and Steam gets 37.5%, presumably. The only person getting too much is Steam, but they are the ones marketing your creation, providing a platform and system for people to buy your creation, and also providing the servers of which people will DL your creation after
