Can we get SEGA to make football games again? 2K Sports>EA Sports

I mean before Steam what centralized place did PC gamers have to go to be able to share and do all of these things? Not to mention the ability to trade games with your friends, and I find the photo uploading/sharing to be a pretty cool and fun feature as well.

I'm somewhat new to PC gaming (about 6-7 months in) so I'm not as familiar as to why people hate on Steam so much as some of you may be.

Hopefully it ports better than Max Payne 3. I've owned the game for over 4 months and I still can't play it.
