I had a very similar reaction. And if you read the story in the Oregonian, it explains that recidivism among juvenile sex offenders is actually very low following treatment (maybe that’s common knowledge among educated people, but I always understood the opposite to be true in cases of pedophilia).
Great story.
The griping is stupid. The USGA has said over and over again that they want the US Open to be a very difficult test for the best golfers in the world and par should be considered a very good score. They specifically do not want the usual weekend birdie-fest you get at most regular tour events.
I dont mind because it still rewards skill. Its not like they put a bunch of boulders in the fairway and the winner is decided by lucky bounces. And since they’re all playing the same course . . .
Nothing better than pro golfers crying. The equipment, ball, and skill have disabled most existing courses from being difficult unless there’s room to make the holes longer. Tough shit you can’t hit driver/wedge to every fucking hole.
So, don’t hit it into that grass? Isn’t the whole point that all of you are supposed to be great at golf? I mean, if the course was on the coast, and every hole had water hazards, would he be bitching?
How many millions in gambling debt would Jordan have had to have been in for him to take two years off to play minor league hockey?
Kind of curious what most viewers think about these really difficult course setups. I think sometimes (maybe not all the time?) it is fun/interesting to watch the pros deal with tricky situations and pay a bigger price for bad shots, and ultimately struggle to shoot around par... versus watching them shoot -10 every…
Dear Kevin Na et al,
But would this team have beat the 95-96 Bulls? Obviously not.
So to be clear: we’re all gonna send crying Jordan meme’s to this guy’s campaign page now, right?
As an avid Madden player this doesn’t excite me in the least bit. EA Sports should design the mobile app in a way so you can draft from your phone in online connected franchise or here’s something novel: give us the ability renegotiate contracts in online CFM. Imo that’d appease the community, adding things to the…
Why all the fluff? Can Sports just focus their attention on physics, AI logic, and better network performance? I have always loathed the push for more content without addressing the core features of the game, sigh.
Kerr also added: Except for the ‘96 Bulls. Those guys, especially the guys coming off the bench, would have crushed this team.
Lavar was cut short before claiming he could beat harder than that coddling dad Adrian Peterson.
Really? Cuz I get a total Joe Jackson vibe.
Hot take: If you hit your kids with a belt it’s fucking child abuse. I don’t care what your granny or daddy did when you were a kid.
Where did the idea ever come from that an ex is entitled to certain standard of living?
Daily beer? That is like the Single-A ball version of a drinking problem. You are bush league. Now if you want a drinking problem then I suggest working a campaign. I developed both a love of coffee and whisky while working a governors campaign.
