A fair point, but I would argue it says something about this guy that he is nonchalant about displaying his tattoo. Even if removal is out of budget, I would think getting it tattooed over to disguise it or hell, just wearing a bandage over it would be an intelligent move.

Fine him and move on. The idea that there are people who not only think a suspension is possible for fucking words, but that it is reasonable, boggles my mind.

I’d be happy to fill out a survey regarding baby names for a friend’s kid, since I’m incredibly opinionated about kids’ names these days because they’ve gotten so damn stupid.

I know it likely made no real difference in the game or the series, but it always blows my mind when a team is penalized for the actions of spectators. It just seems so bush league and illogical.

But practically speaking, that can still happen now if someone surreptitiously takes a picture of their ballot. It’s not like they are aggressively enforcing the law against taking pictures of the ballot.

Maybe middle seats should be cheaper than aisle/window seats, but I’m totally sympathetic to business travelers here.

Other human beings make boarding and departure torturous. Get rid of the overhead bins and they’ll figure out something else to do to screw up an orderly disembarking.

I thought this was a fairly even-handed description of both candidates and their differences.

That’s an excellent way to put it. I know I should have some sympathy for anyone with an addiction, but it’s harder to have it for someone like Manziel who is openly acting like an asshole and a criminal rather than just failing to stay sober. If he was in the news for being spotted drunk in a bar but not causing

Prisco’s argument is silly. He cherry-picks four QBs who are not only individually elite, but have played on perennially successful teams for the last decade. Why not discuss someone like Drew Brees? He’s been pretty damn good for that decade, he’s led his team to the Super Bowl, and the Saints have also missed the

Eh, the majority of athletes who go broke do so because they’re stupid. Sure, there are athletes who get injured really young or don’t actually make that much money while they’re playing, but generally you hear about guys who made tens of millions in their careers and then lose it. Even allowing for a retirement

I try to keep things in perspective by remembering that the more I pay in taxes, the more money I made. My wife and I ended up paying more in federal taxes for 2015 than ever before, because we earned more money than ever before. It's a nice problem to have.

I don’t know about “fun” (although I’m one of those sickos who does kind of enjoy doing our taxes), but absolutely educational. You get a deeper understanding of how your taxes are calculated and the impact of different changes to your income. It also prevents you from being one of the mouth breathers who say things

I can’t think of a better place for him to be when he gets a taste of that than with me.

I’d argue that obsessing over what your guests eat is far ruder. Also, maybe it’s different in different cultures but I cannot think of one time as an adult that I was handed a plate with food on it at someone’s house. Every meal I’ve had was self-serve, which makes it easier to skip something I'm not into.

Unless you are extremely picky to the point that entire groups of food are disgusting to you, if you’re an adult there is zero reason to force yourself to eat something you already know you don’t like. There are always reasonable substitutions.

Regarding “mistake” babies: I don’t know what the letter writer’s situation is, but 99% of people who say their baby was a surprise/mistake are morons who were too stupid to use birth control properly. There are exceptions...maybe he had a vasectomy that checked out fine but failed, maybe she took the birth control

By far the dumbest emoji.

I’m not a basketball guy, but it seems clear to me that the three biggest problems are Gar Forman, John Paxson, and Jerry Reinsdorf. The first two make very bad decisions and Reinsdorf fails to hold them accountable for it.

I’ll go even further and say I don’t care if he’s an alcoholic or not. He’s out on bond for allegedly assaulting a woman. The requirements of his bond should be that he stays away from her and doesn’t assault anybody else. It’s ridiculous to say he can’t drink in a bar (which if I’m reading this right he was doing
