A reasonable sized pickup truck

It would be the AMC Eagle family of cars, but sold under the Jeep name.

Am I the only Jalop who enjoys seeing stanced cars?

I’m always amazed by the type of person who just can’t wait to get the the comment section of these types of articles so they can detail just how stupid the victim is, hand-wave the predatory nature of the lender/bank/dealership and gush about how they would never have fallen for a scheme like that. I can never tell

It costs a great deal of money to be poor in America.

the headline we were hoping for

Cowards.  Since there are so few races left, the cretin should be banned until 2020.

People said the exact same thing about Lexus. It now outsells Audi and matches BMW at the same price points.

On the list of things that you shouldn’t need a manual to operate, door handles are near the top.

Should it boggle the mind more that there are companies making electrical release door mechanisms on top of which they produce an additional mechanical fail-safe that the owner needs to consult a manual to know how to operate?

Years ago, while out motorcycle riding, a “friend” pulled something similar to me. Riding side by side on our bikes at about 60 mph, he reaches over and hits the kill switch on my handlebar. This stopped the engine’s ignition resulting in turning the entire driveline into a mechanical brake and almost threw me over

Permanently banned and gang jumped by the mechanics for an extreme ass wooping.

Because the only way most of us broke-asses will be able to afford this thing is with 30 years of depreciation.

That’s a really good question...local cops usually help a lot with the President’s Motorcade, so multiple vehicles setting up a blockade with a smoke-screen might keep a potential assassin from being able to get at the Presidential Limo. (I refuse to call it The Beast now that Trump rides in it.)

In the United States? There aren’t really any lawless places that police don’t go. That’s the type of thing that would be published on Infowars or Breitbart.

Oh please no there aren’t.

“a smoke-screen system”

Any police force in the US or Canada that buys one of these deserves to have their budget cut.

I’m not trying to convince you that anything is appealing. I even wrote that I don’t sign off on doing that to a car.

You could just go to a meet like I did and ask the owners of the cars. I didn’t see anyone taking selfies and everyone was pretty forthcoming and nice.
