I can't wait for the crossover fanfiction where Rocket and RJ go marauding together for snacks while wielding a machine gun and a beautiful romance ensues.

This is the new trailer for Guardians of the Galaxy, isn't it?

It's like batboy learned his moves from this kid:

I was born and grew up in Peru. My parents decided to leave the country when the situation with Shining Path became intolerable. It wasn't a civil war per se but it was brutal and scary. I was a child and do not remember the details but I do know from talking to my parents and grandparents that any kind of intra

Do you think you would survive such a war? Because the likelihood, unless you are well trained in military is that you wouldn't (neither would I, of course, and 90% of Gawker commenters). This reminds me of those preppers who salivate at the thought of some kind of apocalypse and when you get to know them even

Just imagine, in this day and age, someone standing in front of a school, observing and taking notes. I would quite likely get serial killer selecting future victim vibes not just random creep.

Quite possibly my favorite: the "scientific" experiment that could either land your ass in jail or get you beaten up.

"Artist rendition" of this.

I might have something to do with page views (since that's the measure of "circulation" for most media - new and old - these days). As in, when are people (not us fans, but the general, movie going public) most likely to be interested in a film review? If they hold publishing them, they can participate in trending

It's only going to be officially released in 8 days. Even though Spider-Man was released in Europe one week earlier than the US, a lot of American media waited for the US release to review the film. I expect reviews for Godzilla will not be happening before May 15th or so.

I don't disagree with you that everything seems a little too bright however, I also believe it works as a great identity aesthetic to counteract the pervasive "Nolan grittiness" that seems to be so ubiquitous these days.

Considering the price of movie tickets, I can understand people who went to see it and were utterly disappointed. I mean, for many fans the expense of getting to the theater represents a dent in their entertainment budget. I'd expect that (together with fan expectations) plays a role in the reactions. I did enjoy it

I saw it on opening week and I'd strongly recommend it as a Netflix watch (or streaming/rental service of choice). If anything, Andrew Garfield nails the character and Emma Stone is great as Gwen. The rest? Meh, it's not bad awful, it's just a lukewarm mess.

One thing I believe in regards to Godzilla's overexposure (and maybe Maleficent's as well) is that the studio seems overly eager to "show" us that it's nothing like the '98 disaster so they go overboard with the marketing and promotion. In the case of Maleficent, maybe they want to really, really prove that it's

I feel the same way about Godzilla and the funny thing is that I am really looking forward to it. Yet, the excess of trailers, continuous release of photos and commentary makes me feel I've seen the whole movie by now.

I have no idea about the significance. I only became mildly interested in the project when I started seeing the bears in places other than Berlin and, like you, wondered about the odd choice of animal. The website doesn't clarify the why, though. Being a marketing cynic as I am, I suspect the first project was very

You are not alone, not even the organizers have a clue. On the project's website, each bear has an explanation of what the design means. Except from the Canadian one:
