NOBODY PUTS MCLAREN F1 IN THE CORNER

aw hell yeah

Long story short:

Now playing

For anyone who wants to cut straight to how it sounds...queued it up for you.

Just remembered one! In 1964, Honda entered F1, only a year after their first road cars went on sale. They decided to do it with a transverse mounted 1.5 Liter V12, when everyone else was using V8s. Honda won the 1965 Grand prix with Richie Ginther at the wheel of an RA272, which was the first time a Japanese car won

TIL: Gearbox troubles are the bane of inventive race cars.

Oh my god am I tired of the jaded snark of some Jalopnik posts. Why does everything have to be either masturbatory hyperbole or decidedly nonplussed bitterness?

Better front end then the Focus RS.

Good job Ferrari. The 458 was not the best looking car, but this very well may be.

That front end looks so much better than the 458´s mustache or the 458 speciale´s dental brace. But I´m kinda dissapointed. It seems Ferrari has taken the Audi route of designing. This feels more of a facelift than a whole new model (a la 430 -> 458).

Since the introduction of the 308 in the mid 1970s, the entry level Ferrari has been powered by a naturally aspirated V8. That all ends today. Meet the Ferrari 488 GTB, a 3.8 liter turbocharged monster with 660 horsepower that gets to 60 in three seconds. I don't think Ferrari knows what "entry level" means.

From the EVO article

I was hoping for flares :(

Well this is a thing.

Not sure I like the look of a small light inside a ton of black cheap plastic.

I've been really excited about this car for a long time, but that front bumper is terrible. I'm hoping your anonymous source is wrong because I'm not feeling it from a cosmetic standpoint.

Right, you're missing the point where the NSX is going to be $150k and not $275k...

You're delusional if you think the 80s era of wild, unchained turbocharging in the F40 with no regard for emissions or fuel consumption is in any way relevant to today's implementation of turbocharging.

this is unconfirmed, but I heard they will call it LaTurbo instead.

Honda super bowl ad "back up cameras are now standard in all our cars" well, probably because they are government mandated in 2018, so.. horray?
