It’s hard to take the digital archiving thing seriously when it feels like it’s an excuse many people trot out to justify keeping an ecosystem that’s primary and overwhelming use is piracy.

I am wondering if their marketing team has been citing it as the reason the various expensive ads/campaigns haven’t moved the needle much? “Yeah, they are seeing them but they don’t like the way the places look so they don’t order”. Might also be why there was a heavy push for app usage.
I have a pizza place that I like that looks like it hasn’t been touched since the 70's. It has some of the best pizza ever and it is consistently busy. No one gives a shit about the decor.
One of my kids has an eating disorder and Subway is one of the few places he’ll eat. I go to whichever one will make his Frankenstein sandwich without giving me a hard time about it.

I agree, but if you have 2 locations near you I think some people might go to the nicer looking of the two, but looks is pretty low on my priority list.
I actually don’t mind the flavor, but the fact that they have more fat, sodium, processed ingredients, and they’re more expensive than regular meat makes their existence mostly pointless, especially when I can just buy Morningstar Farms Grillers instead.
You can blast through it pretty quickly if you bypass all the loot in the Shinra Building.

People are noticing that they are upset about noticing that the method of making things noticeable is working, they don’t notice how upset they’d be if they couldn’t notice something because it wasn’t noticeable.

Early in Dark souls there’s a red ladder and it’s still almost invisible. Yellow might be out of place, but not as annoying as the absence of it.
