feels like Ubisoft’s legal team would prefer to avoid a possible legal fight.

The less they play Jordan the better their defense has been.....which is actually hilarious at this point. 

This was my problem. I made a trickster on a whim thinking I wouldn’t enjoy it and I’ve not gone back. It’s so much fun just running around the battlefield slicing and dicing. 

It’s very much a self contained story. A single player game that you can play with friends. The problem is that part of the marketing screams Destiny/anthem despite feeling pretty different to play. Especially when it comes to powers. Destiny makes them feel scarce. Anthem added them to the loot pool for some stupid…

I also think Anthem putting the powers in the loot pool was a huge mistake. Relying on RNGesus can be brutal.  

the powers are better than destiny merely based on the shorter cool downs. 

Anthems big mistake was that the loot was largely shit and the powers weren’t great. Outriders at least so far, is already better in that aspect. The powers feel more effective because they recharge faster so you don’t feel like you have to be conservative. 

thankfully Outriders is more Borderlands than Destiny. 

Outriders looks very much like a Destiny/anthem/division style game but it doesn’t feel like one. The very noticeable lack of clans drives this point home. yes you can play it with your friends but it’s built to be played solo.

because that makes too much sense.
