It was a rhetorical question really. Bravo to you for answering but it was definitely more about what to think about before you try to shame someone into voting. Not really effective over the internet with a stranger.

That’s the problem though. You can’t ignore an entire group for 17ish years and then be shocked they aren’t interested in participating when they turn 18.

Those aren’t the kinds of thing most people have access to. There are clear and deliberate barriers for ordinary average americans. Even more for those of us who aren’t white. Hell we can’t even get the black president to stop talking to black people like an out of touch white man.

Campaigning in modern america is like good advertising. If a movie has a shitty trailer you don’t blame people when they skip it. Boring uninspired campaigns struggle for the same reason. 

it’s not the voting public’s job but it is important that candidates who want to win actually you know try to persuade people to actually vote for them in a real and meaningful way that doesn’t rely on shame and theatrics. Maybe a way to energize black voters without envocating the civil rights movement.

Then it’s a cycle. If they aren’t going to pay you any attention until you vote they’re active participants in why you don’t vote. No one is stopping them from breaking the cycle.

You said career for Hart like it’s not his second. None of those guys shoot well enough consistently to be a real threat. You also should have used attempts per game versus the percentage. Hart averages about 3 attempts a game hitting 39 percent.
