The players would be using what they created from the MyPlayer mode. Why they felt the need to tie it to actual teams baffles me.

Also also, tying it directly to NBA teams is a super bad idea especially if they’re just using created players anyways.

Feels a bit weird to call the final match up of a tournament teams had to qualify for as a showmatch.

the Wizards didn’t have the bench to beat the Celtics. They certainly didn’t have one good enough to challenge the Cavs.

I don’t hate 90s hip hop. I hate the circle jerk that has developed around it.

It’s a two fold issue. Whether private or public they don’t really have the alumni that can donate huge sums of money. Public HBCUs are generally the first ones to suffer when states cut back on education funding. In NC the legislator are constantly proposing ideas that would negatively impact their HBCUs. Most

I found the characters to be really thin. The being obsessed with the 90s thing really annoyed me the most. Also, it reinforced the ridiculous idea that being smart was the same thing as being nerdy.

outside of his creepy behavior towards Sam I totally get it.

In the movie Sam expresses why she’s torn about her racial identity. In the show she doesn’t as if you’re just supposed to know.

The show title is more clickbait that anything else. The creator admits this in the book.

Meh. It was terrible.

So many of my friends said I would love Dope. I hated it so much. I can not comprehend why they thought I would like it.

Joelle is my favorite and she deserves way more than Reggie.

It totally makes sense in the scope of the movie but the show just makes Reggie look extra creepy.

Honestly, my issues with this show are plenty but they can all be summed up as doubling down on all the mistakes of the movie while adding brand new ones. Gabe, Kurt, Lionel, and Reggies dad all end up poorly built versions of the movie characters they’re based on.

The movie has a lot of meh executed great ideas but the show waste so much of its time on things that aren’t important. It also reduces some characters to props. Kurt is a legit villain in the movie. In the show he only shows up to say something offensive once an episode. I love the movie despite it’s flaws but the

Remember when they traded George for Leonard? What a time indeed.

Because ESPN is a family of Networks fighting the Future. The NBA is a global brand expanding into new markets helping cement Basketball as the number two team sport on the planet. Which by the way makes those tv rights more valuable.

40 mil to have Lebron break your heart seems like a fair price.

I’d pick the West hoping to sign with the Warriors or Spurs.
