The reason why people discuss in terms of the particular content is because “censorship” is dependent on the type of content.. That is how these type of issues work in the content of localization.

Don’t listen to Howard the duck. Bravely default is a great game for the first 4 chapters, then it becomes a repetitive mess for the next 3 or 4 chapters. A lot of people I have encountered online usually give up after chapter 4.
I guess what happens to series that don’t expand their audience? They end up like advanced war.
Let me make it easier for you. Nintendo is not Microsoft. Games to Microsoft make up a small insignificant fraction of their profits, while for Nintendo it makes up the majority. Nintendo wants you to buy their products, games and console. Releasing on PC removes a big source of their revenue. The point being what you…
Just remember that difficult cultures have different norms. That is why we have differences.
I wasn’t arguing it wasn’t an MMO. It is just that some mmo do a great job at hiding its monotonous nature, blade and soul does not. Imagined spending days grinding for materials and money to level up your weapon. Then trying it and then watch it fail because it has a low chance of succeeding.
Not him, but I can answer that. Disclaimer I played the Chinese version. I have played enough localize mmo to realize that except for the cash shop and language very few core systems or quest get changed.
Fun combat wrapped around a grinder. I wish it had less grind but I suppose that is why I no longer play MMOs.
to be fair a lot of those same outlets probably gave Fallout 4 a 9. Which is to say, their opinions are shit.
Dragon’s dogma is the best action combat as you said.
FAllout 4 is an RPG, the story should matter. Fine let’s ignore the story.
They don’t have to support Kotaku, but you as a consumer should demand it. You want more sites that stand up to the big publishers not be their mouthpieces.
True but new systems get access to a lot of games. VR will not have that fraction of the games available. In any case, sony found out that releasing a 599 console was a bad idea. I guess Oculus rift did not learn that lesson.
Your move sony. Price it appropriately and you win. And NO, setting the price at 399.99 is too high.
Like everything it was a gamble. Gambles do not always pay off, rarely do they.
And yet assassin’s creed is on the list and Ubisoft does the same to Kotaku. Another possible reason is that Fallout 4 is a terrible game whose only claim to fame are the fans who are so desperately willing to buy anything Todd Howard throws at them. I guess Bethesda Software fans can rationalize a bad game.
Fallout 4 is a terrible video game. IT is like Fallout 3 but far worse. It has terrible characters, terrible plot, terrible craphics, terrible animation, terrible combat and terrible quest.
There is a very high possibility that these HK Mcdonald’s like most foreign are not owned by McDonald’s Corporation (U.S). They simply license the name.
I love how you quickly assume that the people complaining about the lack of feet have a foot fetish. Did someone with a foot fetish wronged you?
For me FF15, I am done with turn base games. Forever (not really there are exceptions), they might not be bad, but I have personally (I cannot emphasis this enough) have moved on from turn based.
