In Israel, the general rule of thumb was that whatever the merchant would quote you in dollars is about how much you could get it for in shekel (at the time it was 4 shek to a dollar). If you didn't haggle, you were considered a fool, and out of pity they would either tell you as much or give you a discount anyway...…

You can tab a million times from Compose into a chat box... but once you're in one, there's no way to tab out that I can find.
