Thanks! I'll have to check that out

Check out any recipes by Martha Rose Shulman. She has a column on the NYTimes and does incredible things with lentils! She's my favorite!

That is the worst kind of waiting! Hang in there!! I had to apply two rounds even though I was a strong candidate — I'm not sure what field you're going into, but remember that sometimes, it's a roll of the dice, and really, REALLY not about you.

1. Make sure none of your food is visible. If it's in a bear locker and/or inside your car, should be fine.

Traveling Jezzies!: I'm going to Amsterdam next month with Mr. S and one of my besties. We're going to be there three nights. Any suggestions of affordable, clean, relatively quiet places to stay? We're 30ish and live in a state where pot is legal, so we're not so interested in the party scene. Thanks!!

I wish I could run. Having a fused ankle joint bars that possibility though.

That's pretty much my list, and that's pretty much what I got. I don't think it's aiming high at all to think that a partner should have those qualities. It doesn't mean the list/the partner won't change, and it doesn't mean that not having 100% of them 100% of the time is a dealbreaker. And really, seems that the

Aww, sad for me, great for Seattle

Lindy, what state are you in that pot's legal? Is it Colorado? Can we hang out?

Welp, I know what I'm doing when I go to Berlin next month... :D

Some of it may be from easier access to more processed food as well, but perhaps not. I'm just wondering if these things are symptoms of a

That's certainly understandable. I hadn't considered that. I was thinking that since there could be stalls it wouldn't be problematic, but you're right. Thanks for pointing that out!

Yeah, since she dresses like a girl, probably no one would even notice. I'm against gendered bathrooms at any place though.

Colorado's a swing state, which makes us very mercurial. Some shitty backwards policies, and some cool liberal ones. Le sigh...

So far, I'm liking this round of photos better than 2008. Keep it up, photographers!

Mine too!!

Ahh! Cool!

Yes, I really loved it. I loved the plot, I loved the ways the characters (all of them!) interacted, I loved the actors and just the sweetness of it.

No kidding!! I watched No Strings Attached recently and was super disgusted by all of the characters. They're all such thin stereotypes there's no way of identifying with any of them. Plus, it didn't pass the Bechdel test, and I feel like movies specifically for women should at least do that...
