You’re probably right, but my point is that my family didn’t buy geckos and bring them in. They just eat the bugs in the house, and my family doesn’t bother chasing them out because it’s a lot easier than bug spray and having to worry about killing centipedes. :)

My aunt and cousins in Hawaii have geckos that they let run through the house, eating bugs.

So, back in the 80's, my parents had a trash compactor that they kept out in the garage. They kept it right next to an upright freezer, which, for some reason, the roaches loved. They never got INSIDE the freezer, but they’d hide behind or underneath it.

It’ll be a sad day for me when he really does shuffle off his mortal coil.

Evel’s jumping was mostly before my time, but even growing up in the 80's, I knew who Evel Knievel was. I remember watching his jumps on ABC’s Wide World of Sports, or other daredevils who would do similar things, and it was just so neat to me to see these guys land.

You’re absolutely right - pay someone like Chris Rock a higher amount who can’t act doing VO and causes the film to run over budget, rather than pay Eric Bauza, who’s an Asian Canadian who can sound JUST LIKE Chris Rock, a slightly smaller amount and have the job done right the first time. :)

I actually really kinda liked these books! I remember reading Tales from Jabba’s Palace and feeling heartbroken for the Rancor Keeper, after finding out that he was going to escape with the Rancor (and that the Rancor fought a Krayt Dragon - that was impressive!)

That Hashtag Show reports Disney is looking to cast “people of color” for the titular lead roles of the live-action Lady and the Tramp remake.

Ok. Post-Apocalyptic storytime...

The lava was kinda accurate...I went once and walked the lava trails at Volcano National Park in Hawaii, and we kids were poking at the lava with sticks. It CAN run fast, as is evidenced by what’s going on with Kilauea right now, but it can also meander slowly.

In the original (and in the book) the dinos were lysine deficient. At the end of the book, there are actually a set of velociraptors that manage to sneak off Isla Nublar and they find evidence of the dinos eating foods rich in lysine - things like chickens, soy, and beans from farms.

Jurassic World: The Bad Guys Get Eaten...Mostly.

They’ll have some of the new crew come in and take over. In the comics, we’ve had Bucky and Falcon take up the mantle of Captain America, so we’ll probably have something like that happen. I wouldn’t be upset by that, because Captain America’s more of an idea, a concept, rather than just Steve Rogers. I hope I’m

Let’s ask Black Cat.

Oh man. When that sort of stuff happens, it reminds me of the old joke about the Naval Admiral telling what he thought was a boat to turn and give him right of way, because he was an Admiral in the Navy.

I have Apple TV, and I must say, it is nice saying, “Hey, Siri - play Luke Cage on Netflix”, and have it log in and start playing for me. But would I ask Siri to turn up the volume, when I have the volume control right there and it’s a hell of a lot faster to just push the + button for volume than holding the mic

Ok, didn’t realize it was an authorization; it was explained to me as a “waiver” by the club, so I went with it. :)

It’s weird, but kinda cool feeling. :) They’re kinda cool animals; technically, they’re related to sharks (if you look at what class they come from), which, because of that, kind of creeps me out, because I think they might be able to eat me (then again, I think just about EVERYTHING in the ocean wants to try to

Well, there ARE exceptions to this rule. For example, if one flies at an AMA approved field, where there have been waivers granted for flight...My father belongs to a club in Lakeside, CA, which is approx. 4 mi. away from Gillespie Field in El Cajon. They have a waiver permitting flight at their field, and for several
