I’m gonna have to watch it. It can’t be any worse than the Kung Fu Ki-...er, I mean, “Karate Kid” reboot with Jayden Smith and Jackie Chan.

This sickens me that this has become the norm.
Well, for me, I’ve not read any Black Panther comics. I VAGUELY know about the character, and that at some point in the Marvel Universe, he’s married to Ororo Monroe, aka Storm, but I dunno if we’ll ever see that happening in the near future, at least until the whole Fox/Disney thing is worked out.
The worst for me was one of the last times I went to Disneyland. I went through, they swiped my ticket at the gate, and I thought, “Ok, great! I’m going to push the turnstile now and walk in!”
Ghostbusters reboot...I don’t care that they were female, that didn’t bother me. The slapstick nature and fact that they made Leslie Jones’ character out to be what felt like a dumb yet happy caricature, just irked me. I felt like I was watching The Three Stooges and Shemp showed up with Larry, Curly, and Moe.
That last bit, if you get caught just right, will drop a normal man. I’ve Hulked out over it myself, I know!
You mean THIS Shazam show? If so, yeah - Bill Bixby was far and away better than this.
Altitude AND steering - he could’ve banked to the right to miss the building, and circled to gain altitude in an upward spiral. Oh well...Still not good. And at $139k, there’s no way in hell I’d get in one of those things.
Damn...You had a remote. My parents used to just yell at us to get up and change the channel. It wasn’t until we got a cable box that we had a wireless remote, and the world changed...
I Kill Giants looks interesting...But I feel bad for one of the actors - Imogen Poots. I just KNOW she was was teased for her last name, growing up...
Well, they tried to do Greatest American Heroine in the 80's, after Ralph Hinkley became a celebrity and his identity was revealed. The aliens who gave him the suit wanted him to turn it over to someone else, so he did, and handed it over to an elementary school teacher, who then took up the reins.
Good luck! Sounds like a lot of fun. :) Stay warm.
I’ll tell you this, as someone who has suffered from severe depression - there is a stigma that so many hold about getting help. I heard it in my group therapy sessions, from just about every person there:
Sadly, it won’t fix the problem I see...I’m tired of seeing ads on FB, period.
I think it’s cool video, yes - the train vid was impressive. But at the same time, all I can think is, “That’s probably illegal as hell.” And the commuter jet, I haven’t seen that, but I’ll take your word that it’s illegal.
Mike, AMA actually just came out about this in their most recent issue of Model Aviation, to try and clarify 101 status after that Blackhawk strike off the East Coast what, a month and a half ago?
So...when I first heard, “Donald Glover’s the pick for a young Lando!”, I was a little skeptical. To me, Billy Dee Williams wore some big shoes, and ANYONE coming in to try and fill them would be potentially disastrous. Plus, everything that I’d seen him in previous to this was in a comedic role, so I was thinking,…
So...TECHNICALLY, according to Paulsen, they did 2 takes of this. He got it all correct on the first take, but the director said he wanted to do one more, just to have a second recording to give to Steven Spielberg. They played the two, and Spielberg picked the first one.
STILL gives me chills to think about it. :)
After watching this, I can think of a few reasons why they call it “Skeleton”.
Yes and no...In California, you can’t enter into an agreement with a company as a minor, so if you’re under 18, even by a few weeks, they can still hold the 18 year old as liable because they’re technically adults and the 17 year old is not. I think it’s because we’re so litigious with contracts here. And this is also…
