Plenty of "normal human adults" are very explicit that they would like sex the minute they meet someone.

Yeah, I'm gay, so luckily they're always well received but the exchanges between men and women always seem dorky.
Indeed, this could be one of those "Says more about the site creator than the people featured on the site." situations. Maybe, maybe not. An interesting point all the same.
I'm a gay white latino liberal democrat, and I sometimes agree. In the words of someone smarter than me: "The greatest expression of privilege is being offended on behalf of other people."
dude, i'm black and gay and i'm still not as rabidly, psychotically liberal as the freaks on this site. (white, straight freaks desperate to find something to be offended about). you don't have to be a troll to find the standard jezebel perspective laughable.
You know your movement is pathetic when the hashtag #EndFathersDay is created to mock other divisive progressive hashtags like #YesAllWomen, #YesAllWhiteWomen, and #WhitePrivilege, and the tag is so plausible that nobody can tell it's mockery.
I did a lot of rooting around because I was drunk and had nothing better to do. Plenty of hardcore ideologues to be found, with a history of involvement in feminist hashtags.
The fact that many thought this was legit and it caught on so quickly (there weren't thousands of trolls doing this, just a thread of a 100 or so) says a lot more about SJW and feminism than it does about 4chan.
Good question, and I don't know. I don't have an understanding of why this is even happening, to be honest. Seems to me it's an issue of one group participating in behavior which harms another group, and then at times the group being harmed lashes out in inappropriate ways, and it just keeps going back and forth.
Drag queens deal with the threat of violence all the time. Just ask the former roommate of a drag queen (that would be me) who woke up with a hand scrawled note taped to our door stating that my roommate better watch out because he has going to be beat up within an inch of his life. The scariest moment of both our…
I can't find her original tweets, but from http://bitchmagazine.org/post/if-the-ch…
PMM is kind of an immature jerk (to be fair, I can't claim to be any better on occasions) who appropriates all the shitty things that happen to trans women of color and/or without class privilege and wears them like a cross in every fucking post she makes or tweet she sends. She also embarrassed the hell out of the…
Frankly, I don't see the trans community being in arms about this. Only a handful of people are, and most of those are privileged cis women who love to stir the pot and pit minorities against each other so they can swoop in and save the day.
All this "normative views on gender" and "transphobic" crap, is really going to bite some people in the ass. You don't have a movement to make america more comfortable with transgendered people... by attacking everyone. You could make some real progress, if it wasn't tainted by telling everyone that disagrees with…
Sadly, I don't know if there are places that aren't so femmephobic. I personally don't identify as femme and never have, but I am a very feminine in appearance and a lesbian. I live in a huge city and still no one recognizes I'm gay. To be honest, I think this "alternative femme" look that they talk about on…
True enough, but the particular way I had in mind ("ugh, do you think you chose that in a vacuum, that you had a *real* choice?") seems to come mostly from straight women who are just fucking clueless about queer anything-that-isn't-marriage. Other queer women seem to be able to understand that things are more…
Interesting, my BF is 13 years sober and he has wine in his house right now that's mine and even sometimes buys me booze if he's doing the grocery shopping. He said an important part of his sobriety was learning how to be around alcohol and not drink it. He needs to actively make that choice for himself.
The hard part is distinguishing between people who are deserving of empathy and those who are fundamentally damaged narcissists who manipulate people with empathy. There really is a difference. You can usually see it in the lack of remorse or accountability. I only read the most recent letter from death row, and that…
Uhm... the average age of the papers you reference is almost 30 years old. The newest is 2007, but that is the ONLY paper mentioned from the last 10 years, and one of only two from this century.
And there are a lot of people who don't profit from vaccination sales that recommend them. Like... a LOT.
And how many of these papers have you read? Most people would expect an annotated bibliography at the minimum when you are presenting a lit search. Half of these papers are not even relevant.
