I don’t know what modem you have, but I personally bought a Motorola SB6121 about 3 years ago, and it has been rock solid. I haven’t had to reset it, and it has never hiccuped. I think you can get it now for about $60.

Don’t forget about camshaft wear (BEW engine) and timing chain wear/failure (BHW).

Was this Matt Farah’s car from “All Cars Go To Heaven 2”?

at 5:26 - “Everybody would just strip naked and go / black.”

I wonder if they did this also to hide the issue VW TDI’s have commonly had with the EGR system clogging the intake manifold. I don’t have much experience with the newer ones, but I remember it being a big deal with the MKIV Jettas and Golfs. A lot of the guys would just turn the EGR duty cycle way down in the

Good for you for going on a Tuesday morning when it’s slow. I have worked at dealerships where someone brings their car in for a purchase just to see what we will offer them for it. It’s usually on a Saturday at the busiest time.

I remember a small transport company in FL (surprise surprise) using one of these with a one car trailer hooked to the back. It was weird looking, but it worked.

5th Gear: The Magnums were the cheapest way to get the big motors in the Dodge product for a while. Maybe it’s catching up.

As someone who sold Saturns (at an actual Saturn Dealership!), I approve this message.

You can teach an old dog new tricks. Some of us like to continually learn stuff, and if you are an adult, chances are you can buy a beater that isn’t your only ride, and you won’t be stranded if you can’t fix it in one session. I didn’t start wrenching until I was 19, and taught myself a few small things.

Judging by the track record of the Odyssey, the transmission was already a weak point all on it’s own. They suffered from overheating trans fluid in the late 90’s/early 00’s so bad that they extended the warranty on the trans itself.

“What happened to the Jag?”

I haven’t seen a lender that wouldn’t report it as a repo. It still takes them time and effort, and costs them money to repo the car. I’m not saying there couldn’t be exceptions, but it seems a little far-fetched.

Looks like 2 pieces of aluminum flat stock and 4 holes drilled into each should fix your problem permanently. That way you won’t have to play “who’s on first” with dumb cops who don’t realize what they’re looking at.

Although it doesn’t necessarily fit the design, it does fit the time period in which your car was made, and the “Futuristic” juxtaposition might be cool. You need a red LED display like the Texas Instrument TI-30.

The 18” high current capable cord from them is great for the car. I have a magnetic car mount, and I hate cords that are too long. It can deliver the 2A the charger is putting out, and was about $2.

Matt Farah. Complaining about Ad-Block software on youtube cutting into the money earned by the video. In the same podcast episode, he then talks about his Rolex and how much a service costs on that watch.

I swapped the engine in my MKIV Golf TDI when the engine seized. I bought the service manual (Bentley), the OBD-II computer program specific for VW’s (VAG-COM), and a motor from LKQ. It took me about 30 hours, but I got it done. It was the first time I had ever attempted something that involved. The biggest job before

People don’t seem to realize that just because you are voluntarily giving the car back, the “repo” part does not change. I’ve heard people who thought it didn’t effect their credit as bad, that it didn’t show up on their credit at all, etc. It’s sad and disappointing what people will tell themselves to make them feel

Nothing is stopping you from selling it once you’ve had your fun, and assuming nothing goes tits up, you should be able to get about that money. Have fun with it while you can.
