Yeah.  So that guy wasnt the scammer either though.  The CBE really dropped the ball on this.  I mean, they could have brought it to an xray machine and found out that the boxes inside were messed up.

Monopoly is barely a game. Clue is a game, but there are far better games like it that exist.

The box was sold off a couple times, right?  So by the time it got to him, the original scammer was in the wind for years.

“we got fucked”   lol. no.... no Logan...  WE did not.  WE got entertained by you losing 3.5 million dollars.

I think the Gamestop thing kind of challenged the idea that the stock market has value and serves a purpose outside of just making money off the backs of labels.

some people rely on it at the head of the year.   so they need to submit quickly, to get their return in the mail promptly,

The grinding is the part that loses me. I don’t want to spend an hour fighting a monster in the hopes i get the one random drop i needed. My wife had them in excess, and she wasn’t allowed to trade them. So we were just stuck at that point. She wasn’t able to solo it, and if I tried to enter the fight, I’d be killed

Too kind.
He was trying to say that investing in bitcoin was gambling. So is any investing. You put money into a stock, or a business, and you are gambling in the same way people went for Bitcoin.  You don’t know if it will succeed, but you hope you made the right choice and it does.
Nothing wrong with investing.

I really enjoyed Monster Hunter World. That is, until I reached that Miasma monster and required a bunch of miasma gear in order to actually attempt it. Only so much grinding the same monster without the right payout I can take before I give up.   They should have had an option to craft what you need.

Then let’s not pretend that investing overall isn’t gambling.  It always is gambling.  It just has a higher chance of paying off.

I set Minecraft to peaceful for my 5 year old.  I drowned his character to see how they heal.  Looked like he could still die, just slower, BUT then we found some magic protection armor, and he can now drown forever.  And Lava makes him burn forever as long as he leaves the lava.

Turn the fans and tv volume down before you type, so you don’t have to yell.

Legacy Clue, they could have a serial killer on the loose.  Each chapter unlocks more of the mystery, and adds more rules to find out who dunnit.  Maybe you learn where the murder took place first, and then you spend a few chapters narrowing down the weapon of choice.  Then the killer himself.  or HERself.

lol. My bad. I honestly see them all as the same pile of games at this point.

It’s an old game as far as game lifespans are these days, AND there’s a Pandemic. What do they expect?

The ten is now vertical with a woman on it:

Jennings is pretty good in the role. I hadn’t really watched him until this clip. Looks like he’s a good fit anyways.

Mattel should probably just bow out at this point. They haven’t made anything original in ages. Meanwhile there are hundreds of better games being released, and a bunch are even finding themselves at Walmart and Target. Though I’d rather go to my local boardgame stores as two of them are waaaay cheaper than anywhere

I just want a keychain, with a photo of the receipt of ownership of the jpeg!

They’ll need to make room in the store then. A wall for Funko Pops, a smallwall for videogames and the counter, and a wall for boardgames/toys. Guess they’ll need to remove the games to make room for NFT boxes.
