I'm throwing money at the screen but nothing is happening !!!!

Oh look, a fan boy.

Now playing

Another trailer. Boy, Square-Enix really really wants to keep reminding us about this game...

I care about Lightning. You forgot to capitalize the "N" in Nobody. I guess that's my name. ;D

To the people saying this hardly looks better than PS3 games:

Is this your first new console generation? It has been like this for every new console cycle since we arrived in the 3D area.
Playstation 2 Launch:

Someone plots to kill you, like seriously makes a plan, buys the gun, drives over to your place, etc. They get there and with the gun held against your temple go "nah" and walk away. Are you going to be friends with that person? Me either.

Day one achievements, cause apparently that's how far we've sunk.

It's because you "experience" the lack of "content".

So there's a new king of Shit Mountain. Whoopdee doo.

A Zynga by any other name is still a Zynga.

So should I be selling my turnips or buying?! The stalk market is so crazy!

It looks like the world is split in half about XIII-2. After XIII, which I disliked more than I liked it, I did not want to touch FF again. Then a friend showed up at my place with a copy of XIII-2. We did not really expect anything, but he thought 10 bucks can't hurt. We ended up spending our long four day weekend

Everything that was criticized about the gameplay in XIII was fixed in XIII-2. The battle system is better, faster and gives you more control. The monster capture system is really deep, fun and offers a lot of variety. The game is not linear, the locations are huge with a lot of secrets, hidden things and side-quests

Honestly, I enjoyed 13-2. It was certainly imperfect, but it seemed to be built upon directly addressing the most common concerns about 13. Non-linear, the battle system is good right away, towns exist. Slightly more control on your paradigms.

You can skip XIII-2, but if you enjoyed XIII at all (and you did), I'd recommend it on its own accord.

For what it's worth, I would call XIII-2 more of an improved XIII. Similar battle system, but optimized and improved. Story has similarities, but it adds time travel and is a lot more interesting in my opinion. You can skip it, sure, but I'd recommend it.

That "online check" is a VERY BIG DIFFERENCE. Because it allows to actually block a used game entirely, even the offline part of the game. That is simply not possible on the PS4 because there is no mandatory online. All a publisher can do on the PS4 is the same as on PS3 - online passes for the online part of a game.
