Just great. I'm gonna tumble down a huge-ass hill and bang the hell out of my head, only to have some guy come to see if I'm okay and then run away shouting "He's gonna explode!" after spotting the red light blinking on my head.
I really enjoyed reading that. It's very true, since in a lot of ways, apple isn't the underdog anymore.
@Josh Perry: Again, I don't mean to be an ass, but I don't see this being the same situation at all. The wiimote cases weren't added because the wiimote didn't function as is. The wiimote without the case functions perfectly fine, the cases were added as a precautionary method.
@Jonny_eh: I don't see the two situations to be the same, to be honest. A keyboard is considered an essential part of the computer. A phone case is not.
I wonder if HD 209458b gets made fun of by all the other planets for its "mutation".
@RayKinStL: I dont think that Apple could give out free bumpers to fix this problem even if they wanted to. I can't imagine that it's lawful to hand out an accessory to the original product as a "fix".
Droid does... Explode if you try to screw with it.
I would have been sorely disappointed if there wasn't at least one engineer in apple that couldn't have connected the dots and seen a problem:
@Hairy Putter: My issue is that the height difference between the bars isn't even now. Previously (and this is as easy to check as eyeballing the picture above), the difference in height between the bars was exact.
@Kaiser-Machead v.2.1.1: Zing!
Do any of you guys know where I can get some paint-remover that won't hurt glass?
@kylecpcs: I never pictured Mr. Jobs as the speak-in-third-person type.
I've always been the type to just go for the $10-$30 range sunglasses. $450 dollars for sunglasses seems excessive—hell, $100 for sunglasses seems excessive to me, but I suppose the value of things are relative to the customer.
Next: A machine that kicks its own ass
What I find more interesting is that there is a place in the world inhabited by mostly women beating things that is free admission.
@Solytus: Yes, and also, yes. "
Luckily I hate walking.
I'd say this nifty little invention certainly raises the bar!
@Kaiser-Machead v.2.1.1: More bars in more places everybody!
