You know the answer. You’ve mentioned it yourself... They’re out there, and for half reasonable prices if you’re willing to buy one with just a couple thousand miles on the clock.

Cars being sold at dealer only auctions can be searched by dealerships but not the general public. Manheim Auto Auction has thousands of cars that wouldn’t be listed on the other sites until they reached a dealers inventory and were listed by them.

MA doesn’t issue temporary plates for any reason whatsoever. Not from a dealer, not from the DMV.

I actually really like the design of the current Beetle and I don’t think VW should(or really could) change too much of it. However a RWD electric Beetle would totally be rad, maybe even consider doing some kind of bonkers performance model on top of that.

Hauls 2,500 lbs inside while towing 5,000 lbs., fits 4'x8' sheet goods, hooks U-turns like a Miata and fits in a residential garage.

Wouldn’t mind getting back in a Grand Marquis. Had a 2010 that was perfect for everyday use. Huge trunk, great low-end torque, smooth shifts and floaty, sofa-esque ride. Sister-in-law has it now.
