Don’t M cars tend to have even more aggressive seats?

Sounds good! Looking forward to it.

I’m a huge fan of exposed-grain wood trim, to the point that my long-time favorite trim, brushed metal, is in danger of being toppled. Can’t resist a nicely-done leather-stitched dashboard, either. Just adds so much...well, luxury. Couple that with the previous XC90’s interior being nicer to the touch than what the

I see what you mean! It’s basically the previous-gen X5’s dashboard with a floating screen...but I really like the cockpit-like feel and thick M steering wheel lol

Drove a 2016 T6 a little while back – there is no lag, it goes like a NA engine. That said, the overall powerplant is little more than adequate.

I drove both a 2016 XC90 T6 AWD and a 2015 X5 xDrive30i – found the X5 to be better on power and have much more of that ‘special’ feeling when you’re in it/driving it.

Agreed! I drove the new XC90 and I honestly wasn’t impressed...my 2009 XC90 feels much, much more solid in so many ways. And then there’s the new (F15) X5: driving the thing feels like an event! I see an obscene amount of F15s around town every day, and I wouldn’t be surprised if that’s why.

Isn’t this a 2016?

How ironic – I just published my experience w/ the 2016 XC90 this morning, from the perspective of an owner of the first-gen model. I look forward to reading how your findings compare with mine!

Honestly? I wouldn’t pay nearly the $146k buy-it-now, as my dream 991 would cost significantly less than that.

I wouldn’t be so confident...

Fantastic video! It’s buttoned-up just enough, and the editing is as satisfying as a buttery-smooth manual shifter... The f-bomb was the right amount of deviation at the right time, and actually compliments the use of Grieg, as ironic as that sounds.

No worries dude, not a Chrysler fan myself. But you should be OK w/ Mercedes is all I’m saying. :)

This is also why I won’t consider any MB products — too many Chrysler parts in them (look at the switch-gear between the JGC and the ML.)

Haha no worries, my car’s a VW anyway. All too familiar, regardless...

Broken-down car with a BC plate – this was almost me an hour and a half ago...then I come home and see this article. Maybe the universe is trying to tell me something.

So, while Porsche definitely produced the final design that would become the Volkswagen, it’s more fair to say that he created a design that was heavily based on work by many other companies and designers.

You reminded me of my dad’s old boss. He was very Jewish and his dad was a holocaust survivor – who swore by his Mercedes CL600...

The Cayenne is probably better off-road.
