It was beautiful and perfectly self-contained.  Please don’t ruin it by forcing a bunch more episodes!

That’s not what I was expecting John Rocker’s kid to look like

I figure we’re about 18-24 months away from AT&T deciding that HBO original content is costing them too much and starts cancelling quality projects and series, replacing them with cheaper, lower quality programming. I figure that GoT will be the last mega-budget, long-term production out of HBO.

HIMYM had the GoT issue: The ending was set in stone from the beginning, and throughout the show they found more compelling arcs and character beats which they then had to go through some less than compelling hoops to twist to fit the agreed upon ending.

The problem with the last two seasons is that Benioff & Weiss are great interpreters, bad creators.

I don’t think so. They know that Nancy is not going to upset the apple cart, unless the apple cart is already already on the ground broken.

All the complaints about this season can be summed up in two words; rush job. They rushed the ending for some reason, and it ruined what would have been an awesome story. I WANTED to see Dany’s descent into crazy town. I wanted it to mean something.

Lazy and sloppy storytelling being rushed by people who want nothing to do with this series anymore.

Bran wargs into the dragon burns everybody then puts wheels on the iron throne and rolls around Westeros creepily staring at people.

You wouldn’t order a steak and say, “Can I get a side of yams?”

So...another Black sitcom where the wife just happens to be half white? Ok.
