I think you might have miss understood what a consultants job is.
Isn’t this just the same problem that all art media has? Film, painting, sculptures, photography, theater, etc
Pre-ordering itself is not a bad thing. Especially if it’s just “I want this game, so I’ll make sure I have a copy reserved”
Agreed, it’s doesn’t happen often ...but...Heavy Rain,2010, I couldn’t find a copy anywhere as all shops had sold out on launch day and they had a two week wait for it to come back in stock.

I work in a multinational, and I can confirm that in the company I work for, that air does not exist... except on the people who don't show they take the job seriously. (I'm in the UK, so maybe it;s a cross-atlantic thing)
While I agree that you have be aware that the company is always going to have it's interest first, I think your response seems a little but far down the other end of the scale!
Spec Ops the Line
to be fair to Resurrection... when your starting point is "the lead character died in the last film, but we still want her in it"... you're kind of already starting on rocky ground
It's the Ikea Kallax shelving unit, turned on it;s side.
loved by record collectors, board gamers and many others
They used to have a different version that looked the same, but had a thicker outside. They stopped that and have released a version with a slightly thinner outside part now, so I don;t know if it holds up…
