So you found one source that agrees with you so now you're willing to overlook the hundreds of others that disagree with you and call it a closed case? Seriously, what is wrong with people? Why do you all do that??

Not only are farmers planting a single crop, but also with the advent of genetic modification, they are planting a single genetic line.

It's a trade-off. Unparalleled control and customization in exchange for having to do some trouble-shooting every once in awhile. Honestly I rarely have any issues with a PC game nowadays, 95% I just set my resolution and graphical settings and it's good-to-go.

One of my pet peeves.

I used to pronounce espresso as expresso until I began working at a coffee shop. I blame being a native Spanish speaker as the word for it in Spanish is expreso.

If a majority pronounces it a certain way, is it wrong? Jew-ler-ee, gif...

The UK spelling of "jewelry" is "jewellery". So I try to not get too upset about that one. I often fail, but I do try.

Asterisk

When I hear "expresso", I want to punch that person in the throat.

Gonna say it is probably cause the Triggers are analog and what they are mapped to on the PC wants something digital. Could be the drivers, could be the game software. But my guess is its the Drivers converting analog to digital so it can be better mapped on PC games.

My main thing is the thumbsticks. The grippy thumbsticks are just the bee's knees.

Espresso / Escape / Especially / Et cetera

Well, they're only females till you remove their hair...then they're just bald men!

The Bechdel Test is a great way to talk about Film and the state of film, but a blunt instrument when assessing individual films.

I think the test is useful on a macro level, but it's wrongly applied in the same way that BMI is wrongly applied: to individuals. That is, it shouldn't really be used on an individual level to determine whether a movie is "good" or not. Which is something I see all the time, stated directly or not.

Penultimate Tetris was good, but it failed to recapture the je ne se quoi of Antepenultimate Tetris.

Well, I'm pretty sure the last game was called Penultimate Tetris, so I have to assume you're right.

I find it strange how with most games I don't give a fuck about the violence, but with hotline miami, a 2d top down retro styled very pixellated game, the violence actually has an impact on me. Whenever I play it it feels really good yet really wrong at the same time, it's hard for me to explain.

I wonder if you could use the broth when baking bread? Has to be worth a try.
