well this is kinda cute, dunno if it’ll replace Twitter, but might be an interesting way to talk about (likely predominantly Nintendo) games.

from what I heard, the rest of the Frieza saga was skipped as you guys went straight to the androids/Cell... and on top of that, you guys no longer had Shuki Levy’s awesome music and instead recycled BGM from the old Megaman cartoon show among other changes like no fused voices in the Buu saga.

the dub was around since around 1996, but that was a COMPLETELY different dub team being handled by Saban with the Canadian Ocean Group voice actors in which the dub was done all the way until Goku felled Recoome on Namek before looping back to Raditz.

meanwhile, Snatcher (another Kojima game) got away with referencing/paying homage to a dozen other popular movies and shows from the 80’s

this is definitely a start for the updates I was waiting for.

oh cool, I was not aware Shadow the Hedgehog had his own Amiibo

curiouser and curiouser as to why they actually reveal their update notes in Splatoon as opposed to, say, Smash Bros and Mario Maker (seriously, what did v1.10 change?).

Still, I’m happy to hear about the nerfs, those weapons barely gave opponents a fighting chance.

maybe it’s some bioweapon they put into stasis and is still lying dormant underneath that former hospital site, awaiting for its stasis machine to fail and awaken to this new, more advanced world.

...missed opportunity to call this a “Pillowken”?

yep, still a shitty port, but it did give us some catchy tunes not heard on the MSX version of the default infiltration music and the super computer “fight”

actually “Ultra” was another name for Konami back in the day so they could circumvent Nintendo’s then-mandate for developers to release a limited amount of games at a time per year... likely to avoid releasing potentially shitty shovelware just so devs could get a quick buck.

doing this pose myself... shouldn’t her elbow be to her side so she could more comfortably pour tea?

Trick question. Whatever it is here they were trying to spell out.

Don’t they do anime digitally these days? This is a simple mistake they could’ve fixed if they just made the character larger so her feet can reach the floor and still be looking over the railing.

PO actually introduced Campbell and Frank Jeager, Miller first showed in Peace Walker

RIP orange arms Yoshi

ah, that lovable little foot fetishist

while I never owned a Vita (just the original PSP), I was amazed with its graphical capability (not that it makes games any better or more fun) and more especially, the front AND back touch screen felt like it had a ton of potential for fun games to make use of... damn shame that was put to waste along with the chance

that’s EXACTLY how I remembered it :P
