I met a guy who got 4 years in prison for punching a guy and breaking his jaw. He got aggravated assault, but had no weapon.

I agree. I don’t want to see restaurant expenses added to the menu price on my bill and not find out the final price until the bill shows up. The menu price should be the final price excluding taxes and tip. Otherwise it is just false advertising in my opinion.

Hopefully you get the 4WD working because there will be traction laws on i70 in the mountains this weekend and it is illegal to drive without 4WD or mud/snow tires and 3/16 inch of tread. I would bring some chains if you aren’t confident this Jeep will have good tires. If you crash and block the highway it is quite

True. If someone is buying a nice taster in the crowd I roll with they will most likely share it with everyone who is interested. Usually only happens on special occasions.

You can’t really buy the stuff sold at a bar in the liquor store. The whiskey bar I like to visit has a book full of various whiskeys. I enjoyed a slightly expensive taster tray new years eve last year. I personally wouldn’t buy >$20 tasters usually.

The flavor of whiskey does change with age, that is a fact. You can read about it here from the Smithsonian. Also the longer whiskey ages the more evaporates or gets absorbed into the barrel. That is often why the price goes up so much quicker for longer aged whiskeys.

I definitely agree with you on that point.

Yeah... the expensive shit exists as a flex, nothing more.

Same here. Pretty much disproves the authors argument that Google does it for marketing purposes by using round numbers.

Sensitivity training towards cops:

Last set I got around 30k miles(3 winter seasons) before I changed them out. Probably could have gone one more season, but didn’t want to risk it since I like to head up the the mountains to snowboard.

It’s definitely a bit cheaper when buying for a sedan with 16 inch tires. I also had 10% off through tirebuyer. Extra $50 mail in rebate didn’t hurt either. Discount Tire wanted ~$470 for Blizzaks and $550+ for Nokians.

Important to note that good winter tires don’t have to be expensive. I’m on my second set of General Altimax Arctic tires which have been perfect in the mountains and a set of 4 only cost me ~$325.

Love crooked stave. Haven’t been to the newish one out in FoCo yet, but I have been to the one in Denver quite a bit.

Definitely love Funkwerks sours. Jessup Farm has some great sours too. Too hard to choose with so many options. New Belgium La Folie was one of my first sours a long time ago and in my opinion is still great.

I’ve done it a few times in Fort Collins. I stopped when they wanted $20 for the after party at the brewery. Fun times riding around town stopping at houses to hang out then bike onward in the parade ending at a party in a park in the middle of the city. Saw Reggie Watts one year which was probably the best year.

What is the sour guy’s joint called? I will have to check it out.

I live in Fort Collins and I am quite sad about the sale. New Belgium has some of the best sour beer. I hope they keep the local events like Tour De Fat and local live music, but I am not too optimistic.

I don’t think I’ve looked at any license plate on an Uber/Lyft. Once I see a car that looks correct I open the door and ask them for their name.

That $96 ladle looks like it wouldn’t last very long. A few stirs of a hearty chili or stew and it looks like it would bend or break.
